Chefs Spank and News are Trap Kitchen, two culinary entrepreneurs from the South Central neighborhood of Los Angeles who ve skyrocketed to success from their humble beginnings selling street food to their empire of food trucks, restaurants, cookbooks, and more. Trap Kitchen takes MUNCHIES on a late-night food tour of their stomping grounds around South Central to show off a lesser-seen side of Los Angeles food culture: from a 33-year old Black owned taco spot, to one of their favorite local Jamaican restaurants, to Inglewood s first Black-owned wine bar, and finally a late-night brunch spot serving up everything they need after a long night of drinking. lpd1snipe: It's nice to see young people and new restaurants coming out with different food choices that are out of the norm. Would love to try any of these places! Unfortunately, I'm not on the west coast.

haha, not gonna lie; jealous AF right now. I was in LA a couple of months ago and never made it out of downtown. Skid Row had nothin' on this night out. Fire boys.

It's strange to me that if I yelled White Excellence in a bar people would think I'm a racist but these guys yelled Black Excellence and it's cool.

I m from Detroit and this place is really really dangerous. Every time you step outside in LA you gambling with your life. No fly zone forever.
