From a bag of frozen meatballs to this cheesy meatball sandwich. Tbac: Sorry Sam but I would have to disagree with you on the frozen meatballs this time. I have looked at them in the past and thought the same as you but then I read the ingredients and then the sodium and I had to pass. When I make meat balls I will always make a batch with 5 pounds of beef the way I and the family like them. Yes having a meatball sandwich on a week night is great. I love what you do and I have made some of the things you do make. First is the sodium content on an average of 100 mg per meatball and then the ingredients. Meat Ingredients (Pork, Beef, Mechanically Separated Chicken, Textured Soy Flour, Bread Crumbs (Wheat Flour, Bleached Wheat Flour, Leavening [Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate], Dextrose, Soy Protein Concentrate, Contains 2% or Less of Salt, Dehydrated Onion, Spices, Sodium Phosphate, Sugar, Flavorings, Citric Acid, Caramel Color.

Use a grill press for such tasks. It's a useful tool not only for grilling sandwiches but also for searing steaks and chops. It keeps the center of the meat from bulging upward. Other than that. that was a good video. I'm going to give that sandwich a whirl with the freshly made meatballs bought from the local pizzeria. You get 3 for 2. 49. Cut in half, 3 of them will make 2 sandwiches. They make them everyday from scratch. Frozen meatballs. ick. But you still get a thumbs up.

So, here's the trick: I've got meatballs in the freezer from a previous STCG episode. His balls are full of flavor, just as Sam intended. I can skip the part of having frozen meatballs. Instead, I can lick up the deliciousness of Sam's previous meatballs this episode. Warning: the kitchen will smell of garlic, oregano, and musty cheese which should keep most vampires and vampiresses at a distance. Enjoying 4: 20 on 4/20! Ya'll go cook now!

Looks fantastic. Inspiration to make a video about making ground beef and pork meatballs from scratch to keep in the freezer for this and 100 other dishes! My wife and I have been doing this for years ( well, she has. ) and as you say, they always are handy for quick dinners. We grind up garlic croutons instead of using breadcrumbs. Great videos Sam!

OMG I made this for dinner tonight and my Husband and I were amazed at how flipping delicious it was. Put it this way my husband ate 4 sandwiches. Lol it was MIND BLOWING. I'm about 38weeks pregnant and our daughter is flipping in the womb how amazing it is. This is definitely in the Sam Hall Of Fame.

I like the honesty with this show, sure not everything is perfectly fresh, but the fact is not everyone has time to make and cook their own personal meatballs but we use frozen at my work made fresh directly from a local italian butcher and they are amazing

I make something similar to this, i usually get sub buns and hollow them out a bit and make my meatballs from scratch and kinda football shaped and they stay in the bun better. I'll try the roasted red pepper sauce next time tho.

I always wonder if he has a specific way of chewing or if he is just taking bites of the food while its too hot that makes him chew like that. Either way, its always my fav part of the videos.

Great fast meal! I prefer to make 4-5 lbs of homemade meatballs at a time so I can just vacuum seal, freeze, reheat and eat. I'm definitely going to try this though! Another 10/10 Sam!
