I made this for Ann and some friends last night and everyone loved it. As Sam says about so many of his dishes, you can add other ingredients as you like. Diced fresh tomatoes and or maybe mushrooms might appeal. With or without those things, this dish will delight almost anyone and it sure is a quickie to prepare. Thanks Sam!

Not trying to step on your toes, because clearly you know what youre doing. BUT, you do not need salt, it already had bacon and butter in it. And the extra butter over the top at the end was too much. It didnt need it, eapecially if it were ever to be seved in a restaurant. That being said, its still delicious as hell

Lol the way you say gnocchi tells me you are a bachelor cook lol, find an Italian person to help you so you at least know what you are cooking, in as far as so much butter in the dish you are a good candidate for a heart attack lol, people this dish will kill you early!

Like it looks so ok. the butter kiss stopped me like it's already greasy enough so why add more butter and another I would've done to this dish was maybe add like garlic or like some more greens and maybe melted the cheese instead of just add cheese on top.

Sam makes it simple for us because his content is short and to the point. If you want to use some mushrooms or onions fill your boots if you want to garnish with capers by all means go ahead it's no hair off Sam's ass. Just don't be a donkey about it.

Where's the few drops of acid (Say, white wine vinegar? To cut through all the heavenly fat that will coat the palate, give it just that tiny flavor enhancer, and a little extra life. Cheers!
