Today I'll show you how to make the best carne asada steak using my favorite non-traditional recipe roadkillalchemizt: Carne asada = carne cooked over an open flame. How do you marinate does not change the fact that is carne asada and even in Mexico the marinade changes throughout diferent regions. GET OVER IT. Be open to try new things. I cant wait to prepare this DELICIOUS CARNE ASADA soon! Thank you for the recipe. It looks like something fancy restaurants in Mexico would serve.

This seems more like beef for broccoli beef. I'm white but got Mexican friends & they all got different recipes but none ever put soy or brown sugar. The three ingredients that all use tho are lime juice salt & pepper. Some use powdered garlic and onion others use fresh some dont use it at all. Some use beer or wine some vinegar some orange juice.

I keep having family members tell me that the coriander dries out the meat. By the way I love this recipe I made it for my first time last week was amazing but my steak came out dry not sure if its cause I cooked it too long or because I didn't let it rest for 10 minutes. Is it okay to marinate one day prior to cooking it?

Yeah, this is almost 2 years old. I noticed Sam using EVO in this instead of the AVO he uses now. When was the change? I use AVO almost exclusively since finding it at Costco & Aldi's. I know throwing Soy Sauce in rattled a few feathers, but what about Fish Sauce? Asian/SoCal/Mexican Fusion Skirt Steak?

Hey buddy, its been a while since Ive seen you down at our Vons. well Pavillions as it is now. I love using Arracherra (skirt steak) its what I grew up with. Love how you also use soy sauce in your marinade. too many only associate it with Asian cooking. they are missing out ha ha!

As a Mexican who has had plenty of carne asada, I wanted to try something different. I saw this video and decided to give it a try. This was absolutely disgusting! I think it was the brown sugar or soy sauce, but I was not a big fan! I'll stick to the regular seasoning for carne asada!

Damb! I've never heard so many Mexicans flapping their lips over a recipe! Actually, yes I have. This is Carne Asada a la Sammy, and if you tried it your lips would stop flapping, because it's delicious. No, its not your grandmas carne asada, tell her to get her own show!

Nothing healthy about eating meat my friends. Animal consumption has caused this pandemic, and there are worse ones on the way. Just go plant based. You will live a healthier life, and the planet will thank you for it. Time to grow up, time to mature.

We use salt, use ribeye, use mezquite charcoal, or wood, well done is the way, that cut looks like arrachera, ask the butcher to tender that cut of meat, tortilla & guacamole, fresh salsa.
