Yo Im a New Orleans native and although that aint a poboy, it looks like damn good sandwich. Traditionally, poboys are made on a loaf of French bread; either buttered or with mayonnaise (the best shrimp boys are usually buttered); with iceberg lettuce and tomato. The bacon, chili sauce, and slaw would make my dad turn in his grave for being put on a Poboy; but, Im sure its taste good af!

No, what matters is that you are trying to steal someone's else's culture. You say you never have been to New Orleans. How I the hell do you know how to make it. That is a shrimp sandwich on a bun. Don't call it a po'boy. It isn't even close to being a po'boy you plagiaristic thief. It is impossible to make a po'boy outside of the New Orleans area. Don't steal our names you POS.

I'm sorry Sam; I absolutely love your content. You're one of my favorite YouTubers to watch but seriously man. In an age when false information is rampant please, oh please don't add to it. 1. A green lemon is just either an unripe or overripe lemon2. Shrimp in sushi is not raw. Eating raw shrimp is fairly dangerous and should not be recommended.

Ok, I facepalmed when I saw the thumbnail. you use something hoagie shaped, Sam, I thought. But then I realised Sam would explain how burger buns are more universally aerodynamic, or how they're more galactically balanced, or quantumly infused, and how that would make the sandwich more rich or something, so I watch.

You cant have a po boy without crispy French bread! If youre ever make it down here to the city, I highly recommend a restaurant called the Blue Tomato. Family owned hole in the wall. Mostly local people eat there. Everything from po boys, Mexican food, Italian food, Cajun food, its a great place to dine down.

Yeah Sam the reason that using a pretzel roll pisses poboy fans off, is because it is by definition NOT a poboy if it isn't on New Orleans style French bread. That's really the only requirement, and you didn't fulfill it. This sandwich looks pretty good, but it's not a poboy. It's a shrimp sandwich.

Love your videos, I'm from the other coast in Charleston SC and a chef. Have you been to Blue Water Seafood? When I graduated Culinary school, I made my final practical based on that restaurant/ market. Would love to cook with you one day, keep on doing what you are doing, great job!
