The ufo burger at home. Omg! A revelation! The UFO Burger is a unique creation that combines elements of a traditional burger with an out-of-this-world twist. This burger is truly an experience for adventurous eaters and burger enthusiasts alike. The name "UFO Burger" comes from its unconventional shape, resembling a flying saucer or UFO. Instead of the typical round patty, the UFO Burger features a thick, disc-shaped beef patty that is grilled to perfection. To make it even more extraterrestrial, the patty is topped with melted cheese that is melted and stretches over the edges, giving it a cheesy and gooey appearance. This "cheese crater" creates a mouth-watering heavenly experience. To add some crunch and tang, the UFO Burger is also loaded with fresh lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onions, and pickles. These traditional toppings create a nice balance to the unique shape and flavor of the patty. What sets the UFO Burger apart from other burgers is the special sauce that is drizzled on top. This sauce is a combination of secret ingredients that creates a perfect blend of salty, tangy, and slightly spicy flavors. It adds a bit of mystery and excitement to the overall taste. The bun is also worth mentioning, as it is specially shaped to mimic the UFO appearance. It is toasted to perfection, providing a nice contrast in texture to the juicy patty and toppings

We used to make something similar growing up while camping called pudgy pies. It s just two irons that clamp together that wed up in the camp fire to cook. Our go to savory pies were pizza made with buttered white bread on the outside and inside you favorite pizza toppings. After you closed it up you cut off whatever was hanging out and then into the fire. And for dessert we always made fruit pies. Again the buttered bread filled with canned fruit filling and after it s out you dusted it with cinnamon sugar. Seriously the best camping meal.

I think using a slightly smaller bun, scrambled egg, sausage patty, hash browns and cheese would make AN EVEN BETTER EGG MCMUFFIN! The only downside is the 60 seconds to cook so have several going at once. It would be sealed, taste better and keep much warmer!
As usual Sam, you pulled a rabbit out of the proverbial hat with this great idea! The line buying these would be out the door! People on the run for a quick and delicious breakfast would love this!

After all the Korean food videos AND all of your tasty and creative food videos, you making UFO sandwiches makes perfect sense! I'm dying to seewhat else you think up to fill those buns! Beef stroganoff, mini-meatballs, solid burgers and maybe you can come up with some desserts! How about a quick ice cream sandwich! With you being you, I expect great things in the future. My late husband would have loved this.

I know you guys always ask about what you want to see next and honestly 2 videos behind right now but can you do a new stuffed pepper video only because I had the craving for them and made them this past weekend and although it was good just the recipes I ve for them have been getting old and would like a new take figure you all could come up with something amazing

Such a cool kitchen gadget. Love all of your videos. How many cookbooks do you have? I am looking to own all of them and I am trying to figure out if I have found them all. I already bought between the buns and found recipes with intentional leftovers and already preordered the one coming out in March. Am I missing any?

Whether you believe in extraterrestrial life or not, the UFO Burger is sure to satisfy your taste buds and leave you craving more. It is a true delight that combines the best of both classic and innovative burger elements.

Why have you gone from food that an average Joe can make to most food for stoners and/or with equipment most don't have, or want, or can afford? Not liking the new direction. The Greek chicken pita is one of our favorite recipes, now I don't want to make anything from the videos recently. Sorry Sam, just being honest.

I have a Toas-tite sandwich pie iron for use over a gas stove or campfire. It makes the same sandwich but is from the 40's. Dad and I were Toas-Tite-ing everything imaginable back in the 50's and 60's. Try ham and cheese in there, with buttered white bread, cut off what doesn't fit in the iron, YUM!

I'm a Believer and would love to have that machine! I'm also known as 'The Burger Queen' to my fellow World Food Championships competitor friends and have placed 2nd-in-the-world in the Burger category 2X, so it would be soooo cool to cook with this! All 3 of your burgers looked great!

Chopped Cheese would be awesome in that! You had with the breakfast one till the sweet potato hash brown, I thought it was a grilled tomato, which in my mind was the move! Great video, keep them coming! When's the next Son of Sam video coming out!

Thanks -- another countertop appliance that I didn't know I needed! The reason you have to flip it is because the top half is the only one hinged. By flipping it, it locks the top from opening so the sandwich doesn't push it apart by expanding.

If you dont want to buy that equipment this basically an electric snackle iron. Buy a snackle iron in the camping section. Have your filling ready and cooked for camping or backyard fire. And cook it in the flame. Tons of possibilities.

We need an apparatus such as this with different inserts; waffle maker, UFO burger, panini press, George Forman grill (because everyone likes to make up to the smell and crackle of sizzling bacon. come on!

Been tossing around the idea of opening a bar. This would be great bar food. Simple and quick.
Bbq chicken with slaw
Chicken bacon ranch
Patty melt style
BLT
And of course the Korean style

What happen to the old Sam, whom once said: I well never make things you well not be able to afford?
200 to 600 for one of those machine! Just too make your burgers look like flying saucers lol.

reply

Isn t the objective to get a ring of crispy cheese around the sandwich so it looks like a flying saucer? I think if the bun were a little smaller that would happen and adding more cheese.

This burger reminds me of the Orbit Burger the Great Falls Montana Voyagers baseball team made, which was based on a burger a now defunct Great Falls MT burger joint Burger Master made.

Always love watching your content!
any chance you could do a behind the scenes set up of all the equipment you guys used to film?
I mustn't be the only one who would be interested.

Hey Sam, I think they use this same technique to make the Croque Glace at Disneyworld Epcot. It's basically ice cream inside a brioche bun. Want to give it a try with your new toy?

Hey I work for a catering company at SFO and we make these burgers called, 'Cheeseburger Wellingtons'. I'm sure you get the idea lol but you should definitely give it a go
