Sam, you crack me up every time you burn your hands. fingers or mouth. GLOVES to protect your fingers and hands and let that stuff COOL off a bit before slamming it into your mouth. All those veggies looked/sound great. Try smoking a whole cabbage one day, core it from the stem end, put in a bunch of butter and your favorite Cajan spices, wrap in foil and smoke for a couple of hours. Excellent!

I'm a vegetarian, but somehow wound up half a dozen different types of honorary Asian Auntie. There are fishless Worcestershire sauces (Wan Ja Shan is the brand in my area) and pineapple-based fish sauces (nuoc cham chay. Game changers, IMO. For a veg Caesar dressing, capers work a treat. Just about everything is better cooked over some kind of fire, though.

Don't limit this to only six veggies - every vegetable taste better when grilled. And only boil your carrots if you're in a hurry. They just get better when they have a deeper char when you cook them 100% on the grill. I'm glad you're focusing on healthy food. Oh, and the cabbage gets sweet when grilled. Thanks for sharing.

I really love your videos but. I really miss the next door gardeners, leaf blowers, the neighbors barking dog, yelling Astro, the airplanes overhead, sudden rain storms and the Mary Jane references. I say bring back the cooking chaos causing you to stop mid-sentence. please

I will always take more meat over any vegetable. I have no desire to eat them at all. But you can do the broccoli like this in the oven with the same result and it's great. No need for the zest or cheese if you don't have them.

Sam, I watch your videos religiously, but don’t always have the time to comment but every time I watch a video I always mean to comment, please do a gluten-free/celiac episode, where every single ingredient is gluten free

Sam, Good Stuff, Inspiring! Next veg episode maybe, Planet of the Veg, Pt Deux. Egg Plant both asian and globe, Warm salads. My Caesar cabbage would include anchovies in some form and I know the L&P brings it. Thank You!

Have you ever thought about doing a video that highlights worchestershire sauce I think that would be awesome!
I absolutely love worchestershire sauce, I actually do a shot of it when I cook with it. lol

I think you'll want to burn some carbon on that siv, (season it like a wok by burning oil on the outside) The one you blackened the peppers on. I assume It'll just rust away if you keep using it like that.

16: 22 the look of these guys whole is what I really like. Or. the look of these guys’ hole is what I really like.
Remember, kids, spelling and punctuation are important.

Apart from not being a toxic male toddler the number one reason people Dont like veggies is the lack of seasoning a bit of salt, pepper and lemon juices makes a huge difference

So happy to see Sam back with his garlic press! Just gotta say that almost all of the ingredients I grow in my garden. I am not vegetarian or vegan still. Can we say Score

You have 200k worth of video equipment around that cooking area and you cannot afford thongs Or is that just stubborn old man energy I am 62, I can say that.

If you don't have a grill, broccoli tossed in a little olive oil and broiled until they have a little char, then sprinkled with flakey salt is my favorite vegetable

Get yourself the Brian Lagerstrom garlic press, it's heavy duty and like a mini potato ricer. You will not be sorry, best garlic press I've ever had!

Hopefully others give these a try. No vegetable has ever made me forget about meat. But. grilled too many to list. Delicious! Play with your food.

Hey Sam! Is there anyway for you to get your hands on Wagyu veal Veals naturally tender so it would be cool to see as an experiment on how it would be.
reply

Please tell me Sam intentionally exposes his hands to the hot grill for comic effect, and that he's NOT ignorant of BBQ gloves and tongs.
reply

The grill is havoc on your hands in most of the videos. Perhaps it's time to design and sell extended grilling utensils in your store.
