I've binge watched a lot of old Sorted videos lately, and although they are supposed to be instructional video recipes, all I've learned is that Jamie should never shave again and Ben and Mike have clearly enjoying the recipes that have been cooked up over time. For the extra crunch try a classic breading station (flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs) and mix the bredcrumbs with parmesan and herbs.
To reduce the sharpness of the onion and for even more crunch salt the rings gerously before the breading process then pad off the juices.

What's the best way to keep the batter from sliding off when you bite into it? Would coating the rings in flour before battering them help, or is it just something you have to deal with?
