5 Min vs. 50 Min vs. 5 Hour Pasta (ft. Binging With Babish) Nesc Sims: Hey Andrew, Ive never bought a cookbook in my life, but yours will be the first one I buy; however, I was wonder if you heard of the Thug Kitchen cookbook? If you havent, you should check it out. I know youre not usually one to try things from cookbooks, but I think itd be pretty cool if you did a recipe from there.

Can I make a suggestion for anyone trying the pasta aglio e olio? Throw some pine nuts in there and top with grated parmesan. The nuttiness really balances out the flavours and makes them more harmonic. Learned that from just the sweetest Italian grandmother in Edinburgh.

it is called garlic and oil (and chilli, another variant) because there is ONLY garlic and oil. not parsley. in Italy we don't use quintals of garlic, but at most one or two cloves. What do you know about traditional Italian cuisine? NOTHINGW T F

I love nutmeg, and I love fettuchini alfredobut I hate the taste of nutmeg in fettuchini alfredo, I know it's a classic tradition to add it, I just don't think it makes any sense in the dish for me, I dunno maybe I'm alone in that.

Babish, you've done Alfredo wrong twice now. It's just butter, parm, and pasta water. Please do it one more time to showcase the difference between Alfredo and Alfredo Americano as I call it.

Poor Babish, had to use the Tasty cook top lol I was also very surprised to see him on Tasty since it doesn't seem like Tasty and Babish audiences overlap much.

This series should be called Time to prep and cook. not Time to cook alone. I was wondering which pasta was going to boil for 5 hours (roll eye emoji. Love Babish though

Im assuming that 5-minute pasta is actually the time to cook that aglio olio itself. not counting the actual time for preparation and cooking the pasta.

I've made the 5 hour gravy (with my own little variations each time) and it's absolutely fantastic. If anyone was thinking of making it, DO IT.

We do put wine in our sauce in italy. what we dont do is use that much garlic. :D but I love the video and all the twists to the recipes
