As a medical doctor and an advocate for healthy eating, I think this video is very misleading. When it comes to healthy eating, our focus should be on SUGAR content and not so much on calories. There are many brands and food products that are low on calories but pack a very high sugar content. These are extremely dangerous if consumed daily because it can lead to diabetes the mother of all diseases. So I always recommend, read nutrition info carefully and you will be able to make much better food choices.

When you can prove to me that calories are bad then maybe Ill care about low calories. How about cut out carbs and sugar? I bet you think fats are bad too. Calories are an arbitrary metric when it comes to diets. You can eat 10, 000 calories a day and be in shape, or intake less than 1, 000 calories and be obese. And despite the name, fat doesnt make you fat. Sugar and carbohydrates do.

I think its important to note (something the video did not do) is that they mean per serving in terms of calorie count. And look closely as they divide the dishes to see what a serving size really is. Its easy to see serving size on a couple of these ideas but not all. And dont forget, any little add ons like syrup will be extra. But enjoy in moderation and be happy.

Two slices of wholewheat bread toasted, probably about 120 cal, 24g carbs, three microwaved eggwhites(if you do it right they never get rubbery, place it in a microwave safe Tupperware container, season and nuke it. That should be under 100 cals. Add some lettuce and light dressing and viola healthy breakfast, in 10-15 mins

I cant function without breakfast and I would have been down to make this-but why are the portion sizes so large. Like did you really have to do toast for 9 people? Im just looking to feed myself over here, I like the food ideas, but the portion sizes are TOO LARGE

Just showing calories wont help, youre then trying to tell me that 1000 kcal from coca-cola has the same effects as 1000 kcal from apples. Its the quality of those kcal and other stuff. pancakes and stuff is not healthy.
