Hi. I just started sketching for the first time. I like your videos especially the ideas of what to draw. Are you looking at a photo or do you have it in your mind? Just curious. I have been using photos to sketch. It seems to work the best for me at this early stage.

So true about the piano. I had piano lessons for many years and was quite good. Since not playing for some years I have to relearn everything. So a few minutes to half an hour a day or so is beneficial to learning.

Really nice drawing! The hardest part of practicing, for me, is facing all those disappointments until I finally see an improvement. I have to keep pushing through it. Keep the animal drawings coming!

I like your little talks & the drawing you do while talking. But can you put the source you're drawing from on camera? I like comparing how you're drawing something to the photo.

I'm going to get out my sketch pad and pencils and get back on the wagon and try to at least get 15 minutes of practice drawing. daily. thanks for your motivational words.

Absolutely, drawing and painting is all about that. The more you do it the better you will get 100%. It's impossible not to improve.
