when I'm more confident with my pencil then I'll upgrade to pen sketches then I'll do drawings with pen and pencil. I don't want to destroy my confidence and then ruin my art. I might mix it up time to time to see how I might do with other methods and do a little of those to build up confidence.

First video of yours I've really sat down to watch, and this really interesting. I've been doing b&w pen stuff for months, but always over a pencil sketch, and my confidence is still iffy. Thank you for this. Your videos have a really nice mood and tone too.

You should share some of those drawings. Even better, you should do an on the spot video recording as you are drawing at the various places you visit. That would be very interesting. -

I find it very difficult to draw from memory but easily with a muse or reference. Any suggestions?

Great video. I miss photography with a good camera. I think I was better with composition with 2 1/2 film, because it was expensive.
