PS: there is one thing that you forgot to mention (and that is often neglected): the effect of the color/darkness of the -background- surface on the value of the reflection inside the subject's shadow. so, for example, the same white egg, but over a white or gray or black table: the -fill light- is very different and it's a key element for the figure's realism, because it makes realistic it's interaction with the environment

Bro how are your lines making that -muscle- circle shape so thin with that charcoal pencil? I'm holding mine and ghosting the same way you did and my lines are so freaking thick it's annoying. Yes, the charcoal is sharp also.
