How to Draw a Puppy (for Beginners) Step-by-Step - Follow Along - Christopher Hart Ron: Thanks for the videos Chris. Very fun. One thing I love about your commentary is that you explain what a feature does for the subject. I. E.; Large eyes are young and cute, or smiles on young girls when simplistic and smallish is more attractive in anime than detailed. You mention symmetry when it's being illustrated, again making the viewer look at where it's being applied and why. This is rarely touched on in videos. Instructors often focus on the details but not the whys. Anyhow, very fun to draw along and thanks for doing this for us.

So amazing! I been looking for books to help me freestyle (cause I always drew pictures I found in books. I found a couple of your books, and I see that they are going to help me draw my own characters. Thank you for the books and videos!

You are great at drawing but I wonder how did you practice and by that I mean like types of strokes and basic shapes that you practiced, or basically which were the basics you started with?
