It is banned from being consumed on public transport and in Hotels because of the smell. Hotels reportedly have to repaint the walls to get rid of the smell.
Personally I didnt think the flavour made up for the smell, but some people actually like the smell/flavour of coriander, so each to their own.

Beautiful flower! I have the dragonflies cactus, but never any flowers. I guess a special fertilizer would help. What do you suggest incase I missed it. I opened my 1st loofah in mexico n 25 years later still have it. I too, thought it came from the ocean before then. I ordered seeds from Amazon, but they never came in. Where do you get your seeds? I love your videos! Good job!

Brilliant way to liven up a blooming video! Who the hell wants to stick around and watch a flower bloom? It's like watching paint dry! Now when you orchestrate a manhunt with a police helicopter blaring out commands on the P. A to accompany it, all of a sudden it's the most exciting blooming video ever! I watched it right to the end! Am I weird or what? LOL

Kevin, Great video and I feel your pain here in San Diego. Were up in north county in what used to be a quiet rural area but now weve got the fastnfurious wannabees and sheriff helicopter going off every. friggin. day. Ill feel a little better next time Im out in the yard in my noise canceling headphones, thinking of your epic battle to make this video

I'm so glad you answered my question about how you learned gardening through books. I use to think that I needed to go to school for horticulture or something to gain knowledge but now im confident i can learn the same way you did: 3 currently 22 y/o and I just bought my very first plant encyclopedia book with 600 pages so its thick lol

I loved the helicopter in the background and the comments. I live close to a trauma hospital, so I constantly hear helicopters and ambulances. I joke with my family often, if they can tell the difference between the sirens. Is that the police, the fire department, the ambulance, or all of the above?

So that was a dragon fruit flower. My mama (granny) has a few in her tiny garden in Dominican Republic. I always got lucky when ever I visited her. I just thought it was a fake fact that it only happened once. So I guess Ive been EXTREMELY LUCKY since I was little.

I live in an area with canyons and parks so we hear helicopters all the time. They usually are looking for lost people. I also can hear sirens because we are above a main highway. Love the live Kevin.
