Come along with me in this garden vlog as I get out into the garden and start seeds for fall, clean up, prune, and harvest from the grow bag garden, and toss more scraps onto the compost pile. If you like this style of video, please let me know down below. the goal is to provide a little peace and relaxation as you get out into the garden and get some chores done!

I loved the plant itself and I'd like to plant more however i know very little with how to care for them, can you let me know if theres a few hints maybe you have id greatly appreciate it. Love your videos. Thank you for all you do

One big reason I like your videos is because I often listen to your videos (audio only) and they're still enjoyable and packed with great stuff. I heard recently in one of your other videos that you don't like perfect garden videos. Me either. I like your videos because they are packed with education and advice. Save that music video drone fly-thru for tourism videos. The content you create is all original. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiance - (year 2 gardener)

O my word I have made so many mistakes, amongst which I realize was planting the seeds far too late in the season, as the seedlings themselves bolted (I'm in Southern Hemisphere South Africa so we are currently summer. Couldn't figure out why the seedlings were bolting to begin with. And we have had a really hot summer this year. I also didn't realize seedlings needed fertilizing. steep learning curve!

Me and my dad usually find gardening ones irritating but your approach is calmer and you explain more like do. I use my hen's to compost it saves space the pile is under my fruit trees just out of site my birds stir it. Might be option for those with hens. You can cage squash after you take most of the pile to use abs drop it on for the season to use the space again.

So, before watching this I had no idea you had to start seeds a special way. I just planted some seeds in big self-wicking planters about three days ago. Is there a way to make sure those seeds grow alright, or should I get these seed starting trays and lights and such and plant new seeds right away? I know this video is old, but maybe someone will reply, lol.

It's going to be a great headache for me if I ever have to move out to a colder country. Living in the tropics means I can pretty much grow anything at anytime, given that I can just protect them from typhoons. So urban container gardening will be okay year-round; I don't have to think about the schedule of frost or spring or stuff like that.

I love how you warn us that this video is about us hanging out and gardening together, but I find myself learning tons and furiously taking notes as you very skillfully and strategically water and fertilize your seedlings. No pressure if future garden with me videos are less information packed, but it's clear you are a teacher at heart.

I just found this video, know I'm a year late. It's so perfect though! I'm growing with a grow light in my bedroom, in pots on my north-facing apartment balcony, and in-ground in my Mom's yard. You just have to adjust, and make it work. a lot of trial and error! We keep on growing!

LUV this videoSo just wondering about compost bin material. do u put in plants & clippings with powdery mildew & so forth? Does the HEAT kill the diseases & bad bugs like white flies & aphids? I've been keeping mine separate but if doesn't matter than that makes life easierThanQ

Hey epic, I was wondering if there were any other nurserys or distributors you'd personally recommend in the San Diego area for seeds/cuttings/seedlings? I know there are plenty of online resources but I'd rather support something mom and pop if possible.

Hey I listen while doing chores and if I need a visual I can always go back to the computer and back track and see it. Your videos are some of the best to listen to while working because you explain things verbally to where I do not need to see much.

So enjoy the content of your growing/gardening videos, You are a blessing!
I do have a question, what type of water do you use to water your plants? is it city tap, rain, well or distilled? and what is the ph? Thank you so much! #growEPIC

As far as I know, the neighbourhood of squash and melon is not really suitable. Probably its not the reason of the mildew, but with more suitable vegetable, there is a better chance to prevent the squash from illness (like onion, raddish etc)

My Squash also almost didn't make it because of the powdery mildew fungus but I did the milk method and also the baking soda method. They are still doing fine today, but you have to be on top of it. I just did a video about it.

Ive watched a lot of your videos recently and I loved this format. It was great to stream on my TV while I was working from home. I liked seeing you do the actual work. Its great to see that as a first year gardener.
