Rustic Log Cabin Roof Build family visits Secluded Forest Dominique: HI Erik,
You find the Truth!
It looks like you have amazing handtools and you tske good care of them.
Could you share with me where to get those? I suppose they can't be purchased in a shop and someone make them especially.
Thanks,
Dominique

You get a 10 out of 10 for cinematography and audio on your videos. An 11 out of 10 for educational merit. And a 100 out of 10 for an example of character, perseverance and patience.

I wondered how you got those very heavy logs high up on the cabin but then I see the heavy vehicle tyre tracks in the mud so my guest is that you used some kind of fork lift.

gotta give it to Eric it is a completely unique experience to watch these videos. Pretty amazing! Love that there is no talk, just the nature and the sound of work

I dont know how you managed to hold back a loud Wooo Hoooooo when you got all that first layer of roof on. Even I wanted to yell a Woo Hooo for you!

Erik, watching you build your cabin, log by log, ax cut by ax cut, hammer blow by hammer blow, is inspiring. Well done Mr. Grankvist.

Too much solitude for me. I watched alor of your videos. The fireplace amazing. Can you build a dog house. Or are you too busy? Just wondering

Im so impressed by your accuracy when you put the first roof panel on and matched it to the logs on the wall!

Can any idiot wander into a Swedish forest and start felling trees? Might move there and build me a castle!

A nice mix of old fashioned elbow grease, locally sourced materials and modern day techniques. I like it.

It wouldve been a lot faster to make those curbs on the edges of those boards with Jigsaw or a bandsaw
