I grew lemon basil this summer. While I enjoyed the delicate flavor, I missed having a stronger basil flavor. Out of curiosity, do you like the purple basil for pop of color in the herb arrangement? Or the pop of color within cooking? Or for the taste?

Such a great idea to grow herbs indoors during the winter. It's always nice to have something fresh to brighten up your salads, pastas and meats. And I love the idea of lemon thyme in a cookie! You should share your recipe with us.

How do you remind yourself to take care of your plants? Like watering or moving them inside or outside? I do live in an apartment and I work all day every day with one day off and a half day.

Im personally offended that you dont love garden sage!
Rosemary, thyme, and sage are my go-tos here in Georgia for meats!

When planting rosemary in the ground, how do you keep it from getting woody? Do you trim it down like you do the lavender?
