Difference Between A Heuchera, Tiarella and Heucherella Garden Answer Jane: Thanks to Aaron for the video. Love the montage, having seen other you-tube garden clips, make me really appreciate your knowledge Laura, and your Hubby's professionalism in his filming. Always a pleasure to watch. I'm off to buy more Heucharas now. I was trying to find out why my 2 plants were going from red to green although staying healthy. Your advice in lighting positions makes sense. Always a pleasure to go over your previous videos, really helping me get a good autumn garden going. For once I'm going to be in front of my game down here in Aus.
If any one knows of a proven winner supplier here in Austrlia I'd be really grateful. the ones listed in Melbourne on their web site no longer exist.
Regards Jane

When I unpacked my fall stuff, I used your fish tealights video and played around with a succulent arrangement in a couple of fall leaves tealights and a couple owl tealight holders. I live in Michigan so I am working on cleaning up my succulents and deciding what to bring inside to try and winter-over (not much light for them in the winter. They were easy and look terrific after two weeks. My daughter in law saw them and now she and my granddaughter want that treatment on some chandeliers for the granddaughter's wedding. Not sure I'm up to that much succulent arranging though! Need lots of cutting, etc. Anyway whole message here is thanks for the inspiration!

Friend, guess what! Last spring I got black tiarellss on sale at Lowes. Lost the tags so just planted them on the south side of my zone 7/8 Texas home. Did beautifully in spite of our clay soil. School started, they were grievously neglected and over run with weeds. Thought they were destroyed by our freezing temps, but over Christmas discovered they were still alive and gorgeous under the weeds! I'm in love with this plant! PTL! Thanks for this video. Tlc, ks

Hi Laura, I have a heuchera from last fall that I just repotted & I've noticed that it's pretty hardy/ easy to keep happy. Yea! However, I was wondering if you could do a video on how to care/ cut back/ split them? I went back to watch a few of your videos, but didn't see anything addressing how to care for them. Thanks in advance!

can you do a video on how to transplant a plant to a different part on the garden? I don't know what Im doing wrong but whenever I move something it dies. Also at your old house you had an apple tree that you said you use something organic to keep the bugs/worms off. what do you use?

i BOUGHT THE HEUCHERELLA yesterday at WalMart, was walking by, saw it sitting by itself picked it up because it was so pretty pink. Didn't look at the name, just loved the colors. Now I see the name and it is a plant you use in some of your videos. Sooo pretty, will probably get more.

This is so weird to me because my darkest hucheras are the ones that are getting their edges burnt from the sun. I swear plants dont behave the way they are supposed to in my garden. I have common echinacea that thrives in part shade to shade but not so much in the sun.

Very informative! I have grown a tiarella for years and can't grow a huecherra to save my life! Now I know to put lots of organic matter in my clay soil to help it drain! I love huecherra and can't wait to try them again! Thanks so much!

Loved the explanation on the lighter the color of Heuchera the more sun protection needed. We have deep colored Heuchera on a raised island & are amazing when there's a breeze, which reveals the underneath leaf color.
