Galvanized Self-Watering Planters Garden Answer Jennifer: I've read with interest the comments critical of the cost of these planters, and the sponsored videos. As to the expensive price of the planters - watch carefully every step to put these together - this isn't just a box. If a person tried to design and construct this on their own they would have considerable expense tied up in the project. As far as the sponsored videos issue, this young woman is running a business - she has stated many times that this is her daily gig along with her husband. They produce very professional work without a slick marketed filter. Have you noticed how much it feels like you're listening to your neighbor or best friend talk about their passion when Laura, Aaron, and Dexter (meow) share their knowledge, expertise, and home with us?
Thank you, Laura, for your dedication to sharing your passion. Whether it's sponsored or not, I always come away with a new piece of information, and a load of inspiration!
Best regards!

I am a fan of your chanell and have been with you from the beginning. And I'm all the way from Croatia.
I love what you are showing and your talent. But. i loved more your earlier videos then these ones now. Now its all just commercial. I remember you at your old house, making haloween fairy garden, totally simple and lovely. Now everything is oversized, expensive, commercial style - not that interesting to watch. I get that you are happy with the growth of Garden answer and I am happy for you But its gone too into making your sponsors happy instead of making your fans happy. And the fans brought you to where you at, not sponsors.

Those planters are awesome. EXCEPT for the PRICE. that may be great that they sent them to you for showing (FREE) but for us it would be WAY too expensive. 300. 00 for ONE planter. wow! Cant spend that kind of money especially for those of us on Social Security income! I wish I could have one of the roller ones but OMG my budget would be screaming! Even the smaller versions are way too pricey! I wish we could see more affordable but yet nice planters! Thanks for sharing even though I cant possibly ever have one of these beauties! :-(

Love the ideas, Laura. For the viewers, I don't feel Laura is promoting anything other than gardening. The products may be promoted and some might be able to afford and purchase. Ideas and inspiration on plants, flowers and colors that go together is why I watch. Those that are handy might be able to get ideas on shapes for planters and how they look as well as different materials you can use. The mind is a beautiful thing that can see more than the eyes. :)

hi laura, checked out the website and whilst I love their great products, they are too expensive for me personally plus I live in the UK so shippings an issue. this videos good timing though as I have been designing my own self watering containers so these have helped me refine my ideas. I will be making them shortly. thanks. I love your videos. they really help me, plus now I am addicted to succulents. x

I built a raised bed using truck tires. I stacked them 3 high then covered the sides with tin and the bottom with one more piece of tin. I used screws to fasten the tin to the tires. The beds are waist high so I don't have to bend to weed or pick the produce. It makes it nice for a disabled person to garden. If I could get my pictures off of my phone I would post some pictures, as a picture is worth a 1000 words.

Am considering the elevated bed in this line, but I'm wondering whether you found it too hot for the roots if it sat in the sun during the growing season. I want to use it for herbs and lettuces on my deck (fewer animal marauders there) and can imagine a fairly long growing season, UNLESS it cooks the roots! Thanks! Hope you are still looking at these old videos for new comments!

Geez! $90. 00 to $300. 00! Come on girl! . If we are out here planting veggies/flowers, is cuz it's cheaper to grow veggies and plant our own flowers! Now, I'm sure it's nice to get those for free, but try to find us a cheaper alternative. cuz, for me, it's just a downer to watch you and go to link only to be discouraged. Just remember: FRUGAL

Although the planters are beautiful and there is one for people like me with a bad back, the planter for me is $300($299. Unfortunately, $300 is way too much money for a person who's on permanent disability. Hopefully, you can show planters that are more affordable that I may be or my dad could use (user friendly for the disabled.

Just got in three of them. 2 small and one large. It's made in China lol. They also have a false bottom so it's way smaller than it looks. Also when you fill it with water it leaks out and dose not even fill up to the tube. Every cheaply made. And it was expensive lol hope it works lol
