Could you show us a pot arrangement that does well in a shaded front porch area with a evergreen in it? I noticed the 2 planters you have in the background and that's kind of what I would like to do. What kind of evergreens re those? I need simple AND inexpensive things: -) I think if I purchase a evergreen over a longer period I could plant it for each season for less money with just a few fillers

Very important question: I've tried for several years to grow lettuce in a gutter garden, much like the one you made, or the pallet garden. But no matter what, between the small size of the soil + the drainage holes I could not keep the plants adequately (or perhaps properly) watered or fertilized. Did you have these issues? How did you maintain your gutter/pallet garden?

Beautiful arrangement! Happy Fourth of July to you. I'm so jealous that you can continue to get new plants all throughout the growing season. At my garden centers, if you haven't gotten what you need by the end of May you're pretty much done. Not much left beyond geraniums or pansies after that point. Thanks for the video!

I want to know how you find all of the plants you use, looking so healthy? All of the big box stores and even the small nurseries, are selling half dead super leggy plants at this time of the year. Super frustrating, by the time I pick off all the dead and cut it back, most of the plant is gone

I have been doing a red white and blue theme in the front yard for several years now. There are so many flag days in the summer. It just makes sense. And my guy puts the American flag and bunting all over everywhere!
Love these arrangements.

A blue ceramic pot like that size easily will cost you $100 at garden centers. Another alternative is to use a can of paint for $3. 99 and a cheaper plastic pot around $812 that size or maybe someone has a pot already then its just the cost of paint and some labor.

Amazing Laura! You're really starting to warm up to red flowers. I'm proud of you! Hopefully we'll see more red in your garden now. I especially love red flowers since most attract hummingbirds to the garden. Keep up the good work.

Hey! I learn so much from your videos, thanks for making them! I especially love to learn about new varieties and plant names - so thank you for adding the names in caption form as you talk about each one! Very helpful: )

Beautiful! You inspired me to plant three containers for my patio this summer. They are filling out perfectly! It makes for a great welcome to see such beautiful flowers when I get home from work. Thanks for sharing! :)
