Designing a New Flower Bed: Removing Sod & Moving Sprinklers! Garden Answer TheWeeklyJourney: I'm impressed with your work. Reminds me of my front yard project. Unfortunately, I had to request the city to come and draw out cable, gas and electrical lines because I needed to build a drainage system from my backyard to the front which original builders did not do. Yes. It's a lot of work but if it gets too much. Like laying concrete on the side of the house and a drainage system, there is nothing wrong with hiring some help for those complicated tasks. Good Job. Look forward to seeing the rest of the project.

I am so excited to see this video as we want to do that this summer but we will be starting fresh with just dirt to start laying out a yard. We have five acres but I just want around the front done first as we have lots of dozer work to clear things in the back, most especially alder trees and blackberry bushes by the unbelievable amounts. What grows best in full sun and then in partial sun? Thank you for any information.
Near Tacoma Wa area.

Hi Laura, Carlene from Ontario Canada.
I cannot get enough of your Gardening ideas and all the inspirations that come with each video. Thank you! Quick question.
Is their a part 4 to this video of the landscape garden makeover winter interest? Just want to see what the final
project looks like.
In my next comment I hope to share a few pics of my hanging baskets built with your inspiration.

The spot where the tree was planted is almost undetectable! Looks like an awesome blank canvas to plant up a beautiful garden landscape. I love it and cant wait to see how it all turns out. Would the spot by the house that had the landscape fabric and rock work for a succulent garden or would it just cook the plants? Thanks guys and happy growing!

I love this, it's so nice to see a yard that is more to the size I live with, actually my yard is smaller, but this gives me so many great ideas for my own yard. I really love the fence that is going in, when it's all finished it's going to look amazing. Thanks for sharing and as always love the aerial view, great work Laura and Aaron.

Hi Laura and Aaron. I really am enjoying these types of videos, too. You guys always explain things so well and it's so easy to understand. Aaron, the aerial shots are great! I like the shape you came up with for the grass and flower beds. I'm looking forward to watching this projects progression. Thank you so much for sharing!

Guys this couldnt of come at a better time. As you know we are moving and getting ready to set up a new garden. Umm. you can gladly fly to Virginia and help us get it going hopefully at our new place they will allow us to remove some sod. Looking forward to these videos. It will definitely be helpful!

Very nice! I like how the curves lead to the gate to the backyard. Looking forward to seeing this one as it progresses. May want to include costs too, so people know what kind of budget to have. For instance how much to rent sod cutter for day and cost of new picket fence, even as a do it yourselfer.

Is it me or does her plans look like a foot print? BTW I see you using a lot of environmentally safe products but then you whipped out the can of spray paint. Not judging you just was wondering if this is not a big deal or maybe you found a safe spray paint.
