Planting Hydrangeas & Fixing a Broken Pipe! Garden Answer Pam: Who is that big blk & wht boy? (Kitty. Looks like he's got double paws like Russell, well not as double. From where I sit, I would diffently add one more limetime colius in the front, will look filled in and you'll have 3, in one shot it shows a close up of one of the leaves are there reddish dots on it? That pvc repair was diffently another great tip, probably without you even realizing or meaning for it to. Thank you, Nice to know! Afterthought, due to pvc incident: limetime colius placement suggestion - left upper corner, between front & back, actually looks like an opening there.

Thank you for showing us the troubleshooting and recovery! I watch Garden Answer with my 6. 5 year old daughter regularly, and she really struggles with perfectionism. I have been showing her how I regularly mess things up, but you can learn to just laugh, dust your shoulders off, and try again. This will be the PERFECT episode for her to watch and see how even Laura makes mistakes, but you can keep a positive attitude and move forward. Thank you, Laura! You are such a positive role model.

Another great video, Laura and Aaron. Kind of off topic, but: : next time you do a Q&A -- I've been thinking about the bags of mulch and soil you use, and wondering why you don't buy those materials in bulk, by the yard. You have a lot of plastic bags to throw away with the tons of mulch you use! Love seeing a new video every day - keep up the good work of showing us how to do all these things! I've learned so much & have purchased several of the products you recommend

Laura my husband just told me our handyman wanted to use a similar system to fix a pipe while doing work in our house but my husband said no due to the washers used. The washers will eventually wear out so if you cant see them you wont know there is a problem should they wear out. I guess you can make a. One of where and what you used to fix pipe do if you have an issue you cant explain you can know where these fittings were used.

Question- since you love big pots for planting - why don't you try the old fashioned BLUE hydrangeas in pots that you can baby a little more than in the landscape? They would be gorgeous flanking your french doors. Would probably need to go in the cold frame for winter but even one would be fun to try. Just a thought.

Thanks for including the pipe break and fix. I find it really encouraging to see you guys handle the hiccups. And another thanks for the back to back before and after. It really shows the impact of what you planted in a way I can recognize. Otherwise I just think oh it looked nice before, and it looks nice after. Haha.

Thank you so much for showing us the pipe snafu. You could have easily edited that out, but by leaving it in you taught us a little something and you prove that this kind of headache happens to the most experienced gardeners as well.
I love it when that cats show up, I had not seen the black one before.

Broken pipe 101 was serendipitously helpful! One question? I noticed Aaron's inserting a grey PVC pipe in the larger white connector you actually used, any reason why you chose to rethink that and use the connector alone? Thanks for the tips on creating a beautiful shade garden.

I love how you roll through those unexpected garden issues so easily and thank you for taking us with you through your pipe fixing tutorial. Those hydrangeas are huge! Where do you get them so large? I ordered one from HD that was from PW, but it came cut down and tiny.

Hi Laura and Aaron, oh not to forget Benjamin! I was wondering if you can have a tour of youre Annabelles hydrangeas and boxwood on the west side of the house! I just watched that video and would really like to see how theyve grown! Thank you!
