I've had 2 chickens limp and then die. What I realized is they injured their leg. One hen landed weird flying down from a high roost. The other landed weird flying down from the top of a hay bale stack (I witnessed each accident) They limped for a while and seemed to get progressively worse, then they spent most of their time sitting in the coop, then died. You may check the coop for high areas. do they hit something on the way down from the roost, like the wall, the nest boxes, etc?

Laura, it looks really cold out there. Im so happy for the winners, they are going to enjoy those. I am in zone 9 ( Southern AZ) and don't know, if many people plant bulbs. I have never tried bulbs up to now. On payday, I will go get some that I don't have to put in the fridge or in a cool place. I hope I can find some. Im going to plant them and hope to God they come out in the Spring.

I love that you're going to keep focused on garden projects vs more cooking. But I also want you to know that I now watch your cooking videos with great anticipation. You shocked me and made my whole year that one time you slapped the basil (I think) before adding it to a drink. Ever since then, I'm like is she going to assault some herbs before using them? And it gives me great excitement.

Really like these videos. Why don't you sell your Garden Answer things you'd have to order from a different vendor at your parents garden center, an hearing they have a website now. well there ya go. right on cue 9. 58, the ads popped up. Maybe you could do that evergreen tour when the Christmas lights go up, that would be worth seeing too, that has to be a massive undertaking!

Hi Laura! I enjoyed you bulb update! But, I have a question, I live in Central Florida zone 9a, I was give potted tulips this year and want to have them bloom next year, when should I fertilize them, water, and cold store them? Do they need to be in soil? Currently they are in their pot and freezer bagged on the shelves. What should I do?

wow, i love these. so much information! and CONGRATULATIONS to all the bulb winners! by the way, if you live in a warm climate like i do, Colorblends Wholesale Flowerbulbs will hold your order, refrigerate it for you, and send it to you when it's time to plant. i think it's a $30? fee but so worth it!

I have missed your videos but my house burned down in the northern California fires so been too busy to see them but I will catch up because it's one of the things that will make me happy. So broken hearted that all the work on my garden is gone. Hoping to one day have a garden again.
