Planting More Spring Color! Garden Answer Lyfs: I really do love these arrangements. Our issue is deer. like lots and lots of deer who LOVE to snack on pansies especially. Actually they snack on things they shouldn't be such as a new Holly tree we planted and an Agave plant. Ate both of them totally! If deer are hungry enough they WILL eat anything. I've tried everything on this plant to discourage them but alas, no luck. Never ending battle.

Laura did you think of just spraying the window boxes white again like you do with some of your pots? Would be easier than spraying a whole different colour.
Also is the boxwood next to your lollipop planter dead? Every time I put a boxwood in a pot it turns like that and eventually dies. Just sticking to succulents in those pots now.

Thank you for keep posting! And if there is no garden works to be done (or if you'd like to take a indoor break, please do casual live videos like you did when making those orange pomanders? Just chats. Kinda relaxing, invoking holiday spirits, and like you're in a gigantic online meeting but only tune in to the people you want to see

Hi Laura, Aaron and Benjamin! It's always so nice seeing all of you in the videos! I love how your window boxes and planters turned out with the greenery, yellow and blue. They are so pretty! I'm so anxious to plant up my flower pots, but it's still too cold since none of my pots are protected. Thank you so much for sharing this!

Oh gosh I wish I had just one of those gorgeous window boxes for my front window! I also have a deep front patio with no window, and was even thinking I could put a planter box there on the back wall, but it gets None whatsoever direct sunlight! Do you think that would be ok with these varieties?

Is it possible to paint them white to look clean and then paint over the new clean white with that stuff you painted on the drip trays to make them waterproof? That sealer stuff. Thompsons' water seal. That way they'll be even easier to clean in the future. Stuff will just wipe right off them.

Im so jealous to see you planting. Im in Alberta, Canada and still see white! Ugh. As everywhere the situation isnt great with all schools closed and businesses closing daily and Im worried greenhouses wont be open. Do your parents have concerns of that happening? Ps. I vote black

I would be tempted to take a drop of Soft Scrub with Bleach and a soft, damp rag to those spots on the window boxes. I use it on my shoes to whiten them up. Never tried it on white painted wood though. Beautiful spring boxes! I cant wait for spring to start up here!

Your planting ideas are wonderful to watch develope. You have such a gift. I live in a 9b area so limited as to flowers and plants to grow. I watch vicariously through you to have a wonderful blooming garden. Love your videos. I also love Benjamins sweet visits.
