Spray Paint Container Makeover! Garden Answer Paradigm: Awesome video! I have a couple green containers I was given and I'm not a fan of the color at all. I think I'm going to paint them some kind of stone color.
I don't know if this is something you would want to talk about, but it's a big debate right now in the plant communities. Whether gardening stores are essential businesses and whether people should be out shopping for plants. We've even gotten into whether buying food plants vs. flowering/landscape plants is okay. It's just interesting to see everyone's take on it and hear different perspectives. I think listening to those really goes a long way towards being compassionate towards each other and seeing that not everyone has the same situation, but we are all in this together.

Are those wave petunias or just pansies in planters? Project turned out great! I tried the combo you showed last year near fence your place with fountain grass, lemon sedum, & something else not sure what others, will look back video. Just curious to know how yours turned out after everything was in full bloom. I had similar size pots as yours & followed your technique with arranging/planting. It was so overrun by fountain grass covered most of plants, very messy looking combo; sedum is still glorious, love that plant.

Do you leave your concrete containers out all winter? Do they survive without cracking? Most container manufacturers advise to bring containers in when you are in a climate with freeze-and-thaw cycles, but that's not always practical, especially if they are planted with shrubs or perennials. I am glad to understand at the end of the video that the containers you were painting were resin and not concrete from Unique Stone as you said at the start of the video. I cringed at the thought you were painting concrete.

Yes, you inspired me. The former owners of our house left this huge ugly ceramic planter in the backyard. It bothered me every time I walked by it, but it wouldn't fit a trash can even if I wanted to throw it away. I saw the last time you painted your planters and thought what the heck. So I painted it black and I love it now! I planted an apple tree in it and flowers at the base. Thank you!

glad to watch this. You filmed it months ago, but it is perfect timing for me. It's May 8th and I can't plant my annuals this weekend because it's 28 DEGREES outside! (zone 5b - that's COLD for May! So I was thinking of painting 3 red pots black - now I don't have to research what paint to use! Thank you

Could we have an update on the Tulip Pots that were in the greenhouse which you planted the Pansy seeds on top? And one of the pots had a mix of bulbs Tulip/Hyacinth/Crocus. I wondered how you planted them. shortest on outside, tallest in the middle? Cos I want to do a mix like that in a pot. Thanks!

I know the editor is having fun with editing things, but it wasn't satisfying to watch with the plants, popping into the pots on screen. It might have been nice to see you plant up one pot fully, and then have the rest just pop in. Also, would you be able to put less music on please?

I want to repaint some planters but they are not empty. One of the planters has an avocado tree in it and the other has a lemon/lime bush in it. Is it safe to paint with plants still in the containers? Of course wrapping both trees as to not get spray pain on them.

Hopefully you can answer this. I had concrete paving laid before we laid sod to separate our flower beds from lawn. I now have a huge problem of Grass growing under the cement into the flower gardens. How do I solve the problem? I'm spending hours digging it out.
