Spring Projects Update! Garden Answer MrILoveTheAnts: It is so strange to see she has a native bee house in her garden. I mean it's great that she has one but odd that she'd specifically say it's for leaf cutter bees. They're usually the ones gardeners complain about because they cut little holes in the sides of rose leaves and lots of other trees. Mason bees will also use them and they don't cut leaves. Both groups of bees are great pollinators though and largely leaf cutter bees don't kill plants, just take a snippet of leaf here and there.

I get a kick out of Russells random appearances too. My youngest sons name is Russell so were always watching these videos saying theres Russell! Im trying to find the video where he sneakily takes a stance, wiggles his butt, and attacks Lauras ankles. I love these videos! My younger brothers name is Ben! You and Benjamin remind me sooo much of myself gardening when my boys were that age. Benjamin is precious!

Hi Laura, Aaron and Benjamin! It was fun to see the projects that you're working on. The areas will look amazing! All of the brick areas will look so nice! It's nice that you have people that you can give the old materials to. I can't wait to see each project as it is finished. I really like the white fence around the new property, too. It looks so clean and nice. Thank you for sharing!

I think you should do trees on both side of the lane! As they grow, they will eventually meet in the middle and make like a tunnel of greenery and its just so beautiful! I think it would romance the ordinary.
Looking forward to seeing more of your bulbs!
And Benjamin is such a sweet kid. Ive been enjoying the more relaxed videos with him playing in the background, very sweet!

Help! None of my la belle epoc tulips or queen of the night tulips are coming back. I planted them in the fall of 2018. They bloomed last spring and I fertilized after they were done. There is literally zero growth on them. Im tempted to dig them up and see if the bulbs are still there. Other less fancy tulips are coming in fine as are daffodils. Im in zone 5 in Illinois.

Im so excited and happy for you all. I love the new normal of seeing more Benjamin in the videos. Hes getting so big. Love the new brick path, cant wait til the new concrete piece goes in. Ohhh that Russell had me LOL when you were out on the new land and he spun out in the dirt and Benjamin was looking at him like what are you doing you crazy cat.

Laura- I seriously just love you guys. I have a little boy who just turned two. Ive been watching you for a while now. The first video was the one of you planning a friends front garden with mini mauvette hydrangeas and since youre have inspired me. Not just with the garden though, you are so positive, happy and real. Hope you all are doing well: )

And there goes Russel whom loves to show off on camera. What a Ham! I am loving this. Makes me think that I am back on the farm I grew up on many moons ago. Love your videos and it makes me think of ideas when and where we would purchase a home eventually. Thank you and be safe for you and your family. Have a wonderful day.

Awe. I love seeing Benjamin and Russell throughout the video, he is growing very fast. Wow, everything is coming along so beautifully Laura, Ive been doing lots of gardening myself for a couple of days in a row now. I need a long break since Im sore from pulling a few seedlings from our crape myrtles. Have fun and be safe!

Thank you, Laura. I am certain you lead a charmed life, but you also work very hard. Watching your videos keeps me from thinking about the reality we live with now. I know you will be as safe as possible. You are so talented and are the most natural person before the camera that I have ever seen.
