Moving Gravel & Placing an Urn in Our New Pathway! Garden Answer Happy: Your gardens and whole property is so gorgeous! We live in upstate South Carolina which is a very different climate than your location. Its very hot and humid in the summer but we do have four distinct seasons which makes for interesting planting choices. I love seeing your garden tours videos and all of the choices you have made for each area of your property. I have a large hot pink peony that is getting ready to open its flower buds. Its super exciting to see a plant come in bloom. Off topic I just wanted to say that you have the most beautiful hair! Im an auburn brunette and would love to know any of your hair tips such and products or if you use any color or hi-lights?

Oooh I really love the new walkway and the urn I think it fits the area so perfect and the color is just gorgeous. It's pretty cool that you can get a cart around there, and whether you can pull a cart around there or not it of no concern to anybody. you love it and that is all that matters. I can't wait till the urn is all potted up with flowers it is going to be spectacular and a real looker. I will be looking forward to a video on hiding things like air conditioners, or making them blend into the scenery a bit better. Thanks so much Laura and Aaron, stay safe and I will see you soon, love and hugs, bye for now.

Hi Laura and Aaron! How exciting that you got so much done! I had to unload gravel out of our pickup bed too a few years ago and it is a lot of work, and I'm much older than you. I am surprised that you picked a colored urn after seeing all of your other pieces. It doesn't really match anything, but I think it will be pretty planted up. The view of your tulips, OMGolly, just beautiful! I agree with you on the red tulip, it will be much prettier in a vase. Nice seeing Benjamin, too! Thank you for sharing!

Laura and Aaron, I know in previous videos youve mentioned that Aaron is the one that deals with the lawn. We just planted fresh new grass at our home (over an acre) last year and are looking to keep it looking its best. Its an athletic mix of fescues, etc from our local seed store. What is the best lawn regimen for a 5b lawn to keep it looking nice and tidy all year with few weeds? Is aeration and dethatching important and if so, when is the best time to do it? Keep up the great videos

Ok, GORGEOUS! Thank you so much for your videos! I have learned so much from you and I love watching your videos! I also think your voice calms my 5 month old baby downI always watch your videos while he goes down for a nap and he immediately locks onto you! Also, what kind of eyeliner do you use! Mine won't stay on clean in 75 degrees, much less 100 degrees!

As someone who has moved a lot of gravel from my truck to my yard here is a tip: get a large piece of cardboard and put it against your tailgate and folded into your truck bed a foot or so before thy dump the gravel into the truck. That will help keep the gravel out of that space between tailgate and truck bed. That area is really coming together nicely.

What do you mean get a new truck/ute soon? The Ute was definitely not bottoming out from just that amount of gravel, and it probably rode way better with the gravel then without, thats what those utes are built for. And if its bottoming out, just get a suspension upgrade no need for a new car.

I bought the Gamay blend and plants the hundreds of them on a cold rainy day as the sun set because they were one of the only things that didn't burn in Kinkade fire. Sadly they must not have fair the heat well because only 15 came up. :( Disappointed but at least I get to see your lovely display.

I think this is my favorite project so far. The fountain is amazing, the brick pathway with gravel and boxwood hedges give that area such nice structure. And then the two beds with sun and shade next to each other that will certainly make it very interesting to plant. I wish I could help!

Hi I have a question about lemon trees in containers I have plated my tree of lemon this winter and now it has blooms turning into fruits but they suddenly just fall out, what should I do to prevent this and how often do you water this kind of trees since they are in containers?
