First, I apologize for the cuss word I yelled as I threw my phone when the bug came at you. Thought it was gonna get me next! Second, I know you think its routine for you to deadhead, cut back, etc. but for those of us who are just getting started, it makes a huge difference to us! I have some of the plants you have in new beds this year. To see and hear how and when to do certain things is so extremely helpful. Third, to know it doesnt all have to be perfect all the time is refreshing. Thank you for sharing your space! Much love!

Hey! You know what I was thinking!
Well, when you said that Aron wanted to keep a portion of the new garden to play with Benjamin, well! That formal garden with two fountains that you dont know what to do in there yet, I thought of the greatest! An in-ground pool for Benjamin! I used to keep stick popsicles so that it would be the house where all the kids wanted to come to. That way I could keep my daughter near and give her great memories growing up at home.

Thank you for giving an ideas schedules for fertalizer etc.
Could you do a bugs and preventive for dummies? One that shows identify the bug, what all the bug does to the plant and then how to prevent/treat? I need first grade version. I would hope just a couple at a time so I can absorb the info.
Much love and appreciation for your gift and willingness to share your gifts. Huge Hugs!

I do 1 garden chore per day and cover my entire garden each day (I live on a small city lot though. It goes like this- Murder Monday (insecticide/ herbicide if needed, Take it Tuesday (harvesting veg or cutting flowers for arrrangements) Weedy Wednesday, Thinning Thursday, Fertilizer Friday. Weekends are for enjoying the garden and maybe getting new projects started / completed: )

I have just started gardening (Thank you for all your inspiration, and am literally in my 4th week of having set up a couple of garden beds. I am supposed to fertilise tomorrow but we have had three days of rain and rain is predicted tomorrow. Would you still fertilise in the rain (or even after three days of rain, or would you skip it and just do it again next week? Thank you.

I think that I will apply your method of garden upkeep to my property here. Your garden is looking really good and now neat and clean. Keep water or fruit juice close by you in some type of thermos container, as being pregnant you can get dehydrated very easily and that is something you don't want to have happen to you. Take care of yourself.

Laura, Oh my goodness, this was so helpful. I garden in 5 zones normally, but I still stress when thinking about all that needs to be done. Making this garden map with my zones corresponding to week day per zone has taken the stress away. I guess it's the assigning a day of the week that makes it less stressful. Thank you!

Oh my gosh thank you for this video! I have several areas that need work and I feel like a chicken with its head cut off, running around, stressing over everything that needs done and never feeling like I actually get anything finished. Will definitely implement your zoning method! So so clever! Thank you so so much!

I do not know how you do it with temperatures high but I never never see any beads of sweat from you, and your always in long sleeve tops. Also can you sample the PH testing kits that where mailed to you, I would be very interested in seeing the result. Maybe I will purchase the kit for my garden.
