750 Daffodils Planted Today! Garden Answer Shadia: I started gardening this year when I was 4 months pregnant and now my baby is almost 6 months old. It wasn't easy but at the same time did not mind cause it was part of exercising. Was more into veggie but now want to grow some flowers. I live in South Africa. I bought a pack of Aster (powder puffs) flower seeds. Do you have any knowledge about these type of flowers? I love your hard work, I had no knowledge on flowers until this year when I started watching your videos. You have inspired me a lot, thank you so much and please take it easy on yourself, remember! You're caring someone precious with you.

Hey Laura you all are amazing! I have started watching you while I gave birth to my first child in 2015 so I feel like you are family to me. You are amazing. I have a question I live in Athens, Greece, 9a zone and one month ago, don't ask me why, but I plant some frezia bulbs and muscari bulbs. And now they have grown with only green leaves, no flowers. And I don't know what to do. Should I cut back the leaves and wait whether we will have cold winter this year! Should I dig the bulbs out? Could you please advice me? Thank you very much

Laura & Aaron, you are both amazing for sharing so much of your time and knowledge. Please take the time to rest and enjoy these last few weeks with Benjamin being the only child. It may be hard to believe but for many it really does change after new baby arrives. You find yourselves tag-teaming to accomplish more. Hope Laura and baby girl are both healthy. Youre so generous to share with your family and friends. Your adoring public will happily wait and watch, or re-watch, older videos.

I LOVE this poem I found on The Farmers Almanac website called Daffodowndilly:
She wore her yellow sun-bonnet
She wore her greenest gown;
She turned to the south wind
And curtsied up and down.
She turned to the sunlight
And shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:
Winter is dead.
- A. A. Milne, When We Were Very Young
It makes me think of my daffodils smiling, bobbing in the wind, so happy that winter is over. =D Silly, but I love it!

Hahum. Mrs Garden Answer. Just found your name from another video since you never say your name but always say. Hey guys how's it going? Laura, take it from someone that doesn't have 1 & miscarried 2. If you don't post for a month & beyond we will be ok. Y'all have so much content. Take care of you & baby! I am not pregs but working back to it. I don't do 1/10th of what you do! Keep up the great work!

These Ice Follies are going to make a beautiful display in the spring! Can't wait to see them. What will happen to those bulbs after they bloom? I love daffodils as they always multiply and make an even bigger show as the years go on. Just wondering if you will let them in the pots and plant your annuals on top of them but I doubt that as you mentioned putting all fresh soil in the pots in the spring.

Because of you.
I grew Dahlias from tubers.
Zinnia from seed, Snapdragons from seed.
Because of you.
I found so much joy rejuvenating my gardens again.
Because of you two.
My husband is starting to appreciate the perenial gardens more, knowing that helping me do the heavy stuff, helps an ole wifey out.
Because of you.
My heart is happy.
Thank you.

I'm curious how your neighbors feel. Based on the drone shot, there are barely any trees around those homes. And your property is full of gorgeous trees, etc. Do you know if your neighbors will want to plant trees now? Also, the grass property along your bulbed pots, is that land you'd like to own someday since it's off the front of the house?

Wondering how you would handle giving the green leaves time to yellow in a pot after flowers bloom? If you were like me and leaving bulbs in pots to over plant with annuals? Took forever due to 2020 weather last year and ended up with a shorter season for my summer annuals which then delayed my fall displays. plus its not very attractive!

I love the detail you go into. I want all the information I can get about the garden. I am in the same zone just on the other side of the country. I have been putting my planters in the garage every winter. Know I am going to plant them up with bulbs and see how they do.
Thanks for the informative videos.
