Pre-sprouting Ranunculus & Anemones + a Bit of Organizing in the Barn! Garden Answer Suzanne: I love spring bulbs & corms! I have been wanting to plant these corms for years - both ranunculus and anemones. so I too am giving them a try once my order gets shipped. I am just wondering if our basement will be too warm as it's about 60 degrees down there. I also love freesia bulbs too, and giving those a shot as well. I could leave them in the garage, but thinking it may be too cold as it's detached garage & I live in Wisconsin which is zone 5 too.

Laura wasnt trying to say anything except that she is portraying the fact that she doesnt waste time. Laura and Aaron are constantly busy with their property, their filming and editing and their family. She is a high energy person the in my eyes. Kudos to Laura. I wish I had have her energy, of course Im three times her age. Lol

I love your projects! And I blame you for making a fairy garden busking fool.

Thank you for this! Here in Provo, Utah, it reminded me, I had some ranunculus corms waiting, so perfect timing! QUESTION: When you put them in storage for 10-14 days in 40-50 degree weather, can they be in my entirely dark storage room, or do they need some sunlight for that time?

I think I would have set the bamboo trellis in your weird shallow barn cubby shelves. (If they fit below the ceiling height) It would keep the feet pulled togethe and if you need additional support to keep them from falling, screw some eye hooks on the beams and string a line.

So excited for this video & information, especially about ranunculous. I bought my first bag of ranunculous last fall. I've not ever pre-soaked/pre-sprouted so seeing you do this will make me feel more confident in the process. Thank you & hope you have a great day!

This is so amazing, I just bought my new home, with beautiful landscape. I would like to do a small garden with vegetables, when should I get started. Just the usual Herds and a few vegetable. Cabbage, Zuccari, cucumber. Any advise for me

So happy to see this. I have a bunch of anemones that Ive not planted yet and I was feeling a little bad about that. Looks like I can give them a good soak and in my zone go ahead and plant them now!

Roses and ranunculus, I think they may be my favorite flowers though I do love so many others! Talking organization-clutter drives me bananas, I also have a happy heart when things are organized!

Because of this video, I tried my hand at soaking and pre-sprouting ranunculus and anenomes today. Thank you, Laura, for your inspiration. It has added so much interest and creativity to my life.
