my onion starts are so wimpy and flopping over. They are growing long enough and I have even cut the tops off as you suggested in another video, but still, I can't get them to look strong and upright like that. They have stayed consistently moist throughout the last 4-5 since I planted them. any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?

You mentioned in the video that your nighttime temperatures were in the 20s. Do you worry that any flower buds on your hydrangeas have died, or does the temps need to be consistently lower to be concerned with die off. That is something we always worry about in New England 6B. a late spring freeze.

Our last frost is around April 15. All our seed are wow, can't wait to get out and get them in the ground. My grandson keeps asking is it time to plant yet? Patients is a good thing when it comes to seeding and planting. Excited for this year to get going.
Much love

What do you do with the tulip bulbs, put them in the ground somewhere else, store them (is that even a thing? Is it fine to keep moving them from place to place every year? Also what is pinching on the sweet peas. I just love what you guys do, Ive learned so much!

Thanks for the great motivation, Laura. I'm wondering since you use brussel sprouts and calendula as aphid attractors, could you then use a systemic insecticide on those two plants to kill off the aphids or do the aphids serve as a food source for something?

I am going to follow your guide to start tomatoes later next year! I still have a month before I can plant them out in the garden and they are 10 high! Would the beets and carrots be okay without a cover if there was one or two freezing nights?

Hi Laura. You can just take the whole soil out of the raised bed that you always plant in root crops and then put in it the same soil that you took out so the unworkable soil will be on top and the root c roops could reach it and make it workable
