I'm gonna die unless I see the dahlias seedlings soon! Mine are struggling with slugs but beer traps are incredible! they've already created tubers. I want to see what Laura's are doing, because I've no experience with dahlias. and still, I'm pretty impressed. maybe more impressed with the beer traps! PLEASE at least show us the seedlings!

Unrelated to the video but quick q for the next q&a - If you pre-grew your dahlias on in a pot and they're a nice small bush - but you went and buried the tuber right at surface level or immediately below (so note 4-6 inches down, can you plant them deeper when you go to plant them out in the ground? or will that kill them?

Laura, I was once told that one should not mix sunflowers with other plants because they would make the other plants fail. Allelopathy. Do you have a different experience? Are there any plants that should not be planted together or with others?

It look great, plants look great, they like we all just need warmth, such a weird spring, temperatures below average, pretty fresh nights, this time last year, plants were already almost double in size, this year they filling slower.

I can't imagine doing all of that work and leaving the maintenance to others knowing that the final result reflects on me. You guys are so great! Thank you for all you do. You have reinvigorated my passion for gardening.

Where is the best place to purchase seeds. I have better luck starting them then transplanting them to garden. Last year I apparently purchased bad seed because they came up, hit or miss.
