I would love to know more about how you choose the number of plants you grow for the purpose of eating. Do you aspire to be self sufficient with all of your fruits and vegetables? There are so many beautiful pumpkins destined for decorating in your line up, the variety is going to make for stunning fall decor. Do you ever cook with any of these more obscure varieties, and if so, which are your favorites and do they store well?

Good morning Laura! Thank you for all of your wisdom I begin to use Epsoma lawn fertilizer because its organic and you recommended it. I was able to buy them up until last year for a reasonable price is $20-$30 now theyre online for $50-$85 per bag. What is your recommendation for gardeners that still want that organic feed but cannot afford $85 per bag
Thank you always Ebonee from Rhode Island

We just transplanted our melon and pumpkin starts today. We are going to try and grow them on a trellis this year and have the pumpkin and acorn squash underneath to save ground space. We will see how it goes: ) What do you start your melons at for water and then what do you cut them down to? I am waiting for my drip lines to come in for my garden and can't wait to get it all organized.

I see so many comments about people starting their day with Laura's videos. I actually wait all day and view them after I've come in the house for the evening. I settle in my comfy chair with a small piece of dark chocolate and savor the video and my sweet treat, It's a very relaxing and satisfying way to end the day. Thank you Laura and Aaron.

Lura, you spend a lot of time out side around your garden, I can't notice you never get tan or sunburn on your face. I see you do not where a hat so how is it that you never get tan/sunburn how come. I spend less about of time out side and always look like I did, do I see a dupe replacement for you in the garden?

Wow! Nice job. I planted both pumpkin seeds and seedlings from the nursery. Gophers and rabbits got all of the seedlings! Gophers under ground and rabbits above ground. I ended up replanting in gopher baskets and put net over the top. Do you NOT have any pests in that huge garden! How do you protect your plants?

Hi Laura, Can you walk through your new property, area in front of house and where the grass walkways will go? Would Aaron film overhead and you can talk through it? I'm still trying to see all the wonderful things you are developing. Thank you for all you two do for us.

This video came out at the prefect time. Just placed my order for some watermelon and honeynut squash yesterday after rewatching the watermelon harvest video to see all the varieties. Super excited and fingers crossed that I'll get something this year!
