Planting 1, 400 Bulbs in December! Garden Answer Elizabeth: Hi Laura First time watching you this evening with my 84 yr. old mother. She really enjoyed your down to earth and friendly personality as well as your knowledge. I do have a couple of questions, please. Whats the name of the tool you are using to make the holes? Also, how do you keep the weeds down in such a large area? We live on two and a half acres and Im always fighting the weeds especially in my garden area. Thank you.

So, I dont know if this is something that youll be up for doing, but just a clip of the chickens. Man that just calmed me down I kept rewinding it and going back to the beginning just to watch them and hear the wind and it was just so relaxing I wanted it to be longer lol. Thank you so much for including that I cant believe all the work that you had to do but man you did it! I know its gonna look amazing!

Hi Laura - I'm going right out today to by that Dewalt cement mixer (I wish I saw this video earlier. I just have two questions, (1) where can I find the auger bit? and (2) where are all the roots and weeds in the dirt? You have the cleanest soil I've ever seen in my life! I would love my soil to be like that, my life would be so much easier!

You have inspired me to plant 100 daffodil bulbs and 75 tulips for the Spring. (I know, not nearly the amount you planted! . I give you props! Thats a brutal process) But I cant wait to see your bulbs and mine come up at the same time! I also love it when you show us feeding the chickens! They just sound so cute!

Looking at you chicken coop design today gave me a better idea of how to make a lean-to greenhouse for my front window If you hadn't pointed out the corrugated plastic sheet on the top, I don't think I would have made the connection. Hmmmm now I've got something to think about today

Question: My gladiolus plants are still up and looking green. We don't get freezing temperatures here (Sanremo, Italy. Do I need to cut the leafy bit off? It is the first year I have grown them and I didn't have much luck with the flowers, they only lasted for 1 week.

Do your bulbs ever pop out of the ground? At first I thought squirrels or rabbits were digging mine up but no; the bulbs have stayed there (out of the ground) for a few days. If it's not pests pulling them up I'm wondering what else it could be. Any thoughts?

Yes to kid noises! I started having to ask my husband at night, Is someone crying or is that just the ringing in my ears that sounds like crying? I can't wait to see what this space looks like in the spring, it's going to be such a happy spot in your garden.

I ran out of time to plant my tulips. This morning we woke up to -2F in our 6B area. Can I save bulbs till the ground defrosts if I keep my bulbs in a protected cold area? Like an unheated garage or shed? Will they survive to bloom?
