Creating an Outdoor Winter Tabletop Display! Garden Answer Joyce: Laura, did you mention that you did replant/pot a wax amaryllis bulb? Would you educate some of us in that process after Christmas? I had great luck with my wax bulb last year, but then tossed it not believing I could pot /plant it up for next year. And this year I have 3 one being a beautiful double red. Thank you again for so very much. ps Love Benjamin's Santa letter good job!

This is beautiful, other than my two actual Christmas trees, I gravitate more toward a winter look. I leave everything except my trees out through February. I even leave my wreath up, I just take the Christmas bow off. The rest of it is just juniper, pine cones, and a burr style owl. I do have to replace the juniper occasionally but that is easy. Russell is priceless.

Ive been married for 26 years and I too have furniture pieces from thrift shops and low-priced antique stores that I redid. Its fun to remember who we were when we bought those pieces. Your vignette is really pretty. I cant do live greens due to allergies so Im green with envy as I watch you style your outdoors.

Love your table design, Laura! How wonderful to tell us the story of growing into your supply of pots and containers and other collectible things. You are always so encouraging to your viewers at all stages of gardening and life in general. OK so now for that breakfast casserole recipe! Please share, Thanks!

I would advise getting a set of plexiglass or resin type hurricane shades and battery pillar candles for out on your porch due to unexpected winds. You would not wish to have broken glass on the porch floor. Safer for the children & inquisitive visiting kitties (Douglass.

It is lovely and welcoming- May I make a suggestion- Update your door mat. You have a lovely entrance and then you see a worn and tired looking mat. Take it up a notch and replace your welcome mat. Be well and Merry Christmas to you and your entire family.

Just noticed something while watching the movie Snow Day, the young girl that plays Natalie Brandston (Zena Grey )the lead role strikes me as what you wouldve looked like as a kid, she could be your child as close as you two look.

My Christmas decorations are more minimalist this year, since I moved 18 months ago. Many decorations did not make the move. Different times need adjustment of lifestyle. Adjusting to life's circumstance is the key to success.
