I cannot wait to see those snowball bushes in the spring! You are so inspiring Laura. I live in New Zealand and a lot of what you plant we cant get here and it totally sucks we are opposite seasons because you just make me want to go out and get in my garden but its mid winter here.

Off topic but for the west side area why not plant Lamium or ajuga on the formal half it looks pretty and keeps the weeds from taking over

The Gabsky Pink hydragenias are gorgeous. I wish I could plant hydragenia in my garden, but I have no irrigation and I know they would dry up.
