Good morning from muggy Ohio! So, who else had the video playing then opened a new tab to Johnny's Seeds to shop as Laura talked? :) Love taking a respite from the heat and humidity and think ahead to next year; especially thinking of the process of starting these seeds in the harsh winter months. It makes the heat and humidity seem not so bad! Lol. Thanks Laura for all the inspiration and giving us such thorough information on all these seeds!

I think your mom had the surgery by the time this came up but prayers for her recovery. I had foot surgery in December(least amount of gardening at that time) and it was so hard to do nothing and stay off my feet. No walking for 8 weeks. Please share with her that Jigsaw puzzles were a huge help to keep me occupied. I have started to make my seed list so this video was well timed.

Jewels of Opar are beautiful but they will spreaddddd. Don't worry about only having 25 seeds. The birds also drop those berries and you'll find them later growing in the weirdest places. This year we found one growing in between bricks on our patio where the smallest amount of dirt was revealed under the grout. They are hardy- clay soil, part sun. They will THRIVE in your garden!

So glad that you around to help your mom! She's lucky to have all her children close by and able to jump in when needed! From what I've seen of her on your videos you probably have to watch her like a hawk cos she won't be happy sitting still for any length of time. Wishing her well for the surgery and a very speedy recovery!

Laura you inspire us to expand our wings and explore new things! Thank you! I just want to add I have my grandmother's peony that is over 100 years old. When it was moved I separated it and now have 6 plants. The root on it was over 6 inches around. Thank you for starting my morning off in a wonderful way!

I grew the Champion Pro Campanula in white and loved it! It lasts a long time in the vase. almost 2 weeks! The only thing that bothered me about them is that if it rains, the rain collects in the upward facing bells, making the blooms appear opaque then brown.

Good morning Laura always start my morning off with a cup of coffee and your videos. They always give me the inspiration to get up and get going. Wishing your mom a speedy recovery. By the way what ever happened with the beautiful butterfly topiary garden?

Glad to hear Mom is on the mend, and that you are getting some reprieve from the heat! Have you ever put Autumn Joy ( or any other) sedum in arrangements? I just started using them and love what it brings. Also, a bonus is that it can be used later to propagate.

I LOVE seed packs! I know it would have made this a long video, and Ken would have maybe started pulling his hair out, but I would have loved to see the pictures (the only downside to Johnny's seeds. I'm visual, I guess. But I'm so excited for you Laura!

Good morning Laura. I am organizing my seed order today too. It's my first time being organized and I might order from Johnny's this year. Do you throw out the seeds that are out of date?

Laura, if you haven't already, you could check out Common Farm Flowers. Georgie is a tremendous wealth of information, and located in England. The way she sets up her cut flowers garden is wonderful. It might be something you'd enjoy

Dear anglophones, botanical names aren't that hard to pronounce but maybe even easier to get the names on screen alongside the photos, you went in the effort to add them, a little caption would be another minute but help everyone.

You mentioned cold starting some of these beautiful plants. Did any of your milk jug plants survive winter? Did I miss that video? I attempted 20 jugs this Winter after watching your videos and 90% of them worked out! Thank you.
