My 2022 Fall Bulb Order + Giveaway! Garden Answer You are such an inspiration. Being from the midwest and a farmers wife, I know how chancy it is to raise a garden. Very cold winters, who knows about spring -cold, warm, wet, dry- into usally hot, humid summmers - drought, rain, who knows- and almost always a beautiful fall, but one thing we can count on is wonderful deep rich soil and quite often in the nick of time a 11th hour rain that brings most everything around. I love Spring and walk the yard every day for the awakening of bulb from their winter sleep. That along with the coming of the Orioles is the inspiration for the entire year and your beautiful gardens on video.

Always love for the time of your bulb order videos come out, gets me excited knowing cooler Temps are just around the bend and to be able to plant beautiful bulbs for the spring. You hooked me on color blends from the first time you mentioned them, I have several kinds in my garden now and they are beautiful, even neighbors have commented on my gardens in the spring, they said it brings them joy seeing all the colors popping up.
Thanks Laura for all your inspiration and information you give us as well as your hard work that you do everyday. I absolutely love your gardens.

I am looking forward to buying the new color your grass because I have roughly, a third of an acre that is empty, but lined with trees. The rest of my property is very organized/planned out and planted and have been looking for a certain some thing, but didn't want it to look totally planned. More the look of it just happened to be there. I am learning my zone (Northern Utah, there are beautiful spring bulbs here and I need to try some. As always I love your videos, advise, knowledge and you & the family. THANKS!

I do love seeing the bulbs burst forth in Spring, but I agree that it s a lot of work. I ll never forget planting (with one of those tubular, manual bulb planters I ll invest in a PowerPlanter for my next bulb-planting efforts) only about 100 bulbs at my mom s one frigid November day. In spite of the variety, only a few daffodils and tulips grew. Some critter dug up the rest- heartbreaking! In my yard, chipmunks have taken all of my crocus bulbs. Do you have any tips for keeping animals from bulbs in the ground?

You've inspired me to try bulbs this upcoming year for the first time. We have a bed of dirt under our huge oak tree in the front yard. Been thinking of what to plant, and after watching your bulbs wishlist, I'd like to have a seasonal bed - bulbs for the winter/spring, summer natives for pollinators, and probably a spooky Halloween scene, and then a Christmas scene. Thank you Laura & Aaron for giving us so many great ideas!

I am so excited for this giveaway! What a wonderful way to share the beauty of growing something. Laura, I have learned so much from you over the last 2+ years. Thank you for sharing your passion with all of us. My toddler also loves watching and snuggling in the morning, she's always looking for your kiddos and the cats. Thanks for giving us something wholesome to watch together. Blessings.

BEAUTIFUL! Love this! I have an area on our property that I want to do a big spring planting of bulbs, so excited! I had planted some in kind of a weird location and couldn't mow last year, dug them up this year and replanting with a whole bunch more in that space that is closer to our wooded area and can blend for a while before mowing. Great suggestion to mow very low.

Thank you for all the great information. I have planted alliums with no success, I don t know what I am doing wrong. They have good soil and proper watering. I am thinking that the fertilizer I was giving (not Espoma product) I put to much or not enough. Help! Please give me some advice of what I can do different to make them grow. 100 bulbs will be perfect to add some Spring color to my hydrangea flower bed. My hydrangea flower bed has been a 2-year project which I finished this summer. This is the first year and I have only a few beautiful blooms so far but I'm looking forward to the show next year. The bulbs would make my hydrangea flower bed pop.

My first order from Colorblend was planted last fall and were absolutely gorgeous! The Angelique tulips stopped neighbors in their tracks. But everything I ordered grew beautifully. It is so helpful to hear your comments on these so we can make better decisions about our order. Thank you Laura! Can t wait for the spring show!

We have a brand new property that needs a lot of landscaping. It's definitely hard to take a blank canvas and make it as beautiful as you have made yours! Your gardens are so inspirational. We've been trying to think of which bulbs might look good in our landscape. Thanks for all your great information as always.

How perfect! I was just planning the other day and thinking of how I needed some bulbs to plant here in my green home in northwestern SC. So far the only things I have is daffodils, I m definitely interested in finding more beautiful options to plant to see some range of colors this spring!

What a perfect time for a giveaway! I just got my rental house back and my previous tenants pulled all my bulbs out of the gardens. My new tenant is a dear friend who is super excited to have her own garden and this would be the perfect gift and start to bring back the gardens to their former glory!
