Mid Summer Perennial & Flower Bed Maintenance! Garden Answer BettyBoop15: I'm still struggling with where to place my two Little Lime Punch Hydrangeas. Difficult to find a spot not too sunny so they don't fry, I was watching my hummingbirds happily feeding on the flowers I planted just for them, it's a wonderful feeling. Have a great everyone.

This is my first year that I have actuallly grown some perennials on my balcony. I wanted to grow some tomatoes and zucchini and I knew I had to somehow attract more pollinators, since I live on the 3rd floor. Thanks to your videos, I decided to get some Veronicas and Salvia and oh my Lord do the attract them like crazy! Especially bumblebees! Quick question: I have already cut my salvia to the leaf canopy since its first bloom, and now it looks like it wants to go on round 3. Would it still be okay to cut it back to where the new foliage is emerging? Thanks to you my balcony has never looked this beautiful before! Thank you!

Just recently you were talking about spider mites and saying how they loved you hot dry climate and I thought, well, at least I ll never have to deal with that here in MA. We ll this summer has been so hot and dry that I think I ve detected my first spider mite infestation. Looks like I ve lost at least one shrub.

Morning all. It's always so satisfying to see the before and after of a cleanup. Well Done Laura. Keep Cool and stay Hydrated. You should keep a cold water bottle with you at all times. Just sayin'. xo

Good morning! I can t even imagine having to work in that 100+ heat. It s always nice to clean an area up and see how good it looks after you re done. Stay cool & hydrate.

I ve had the Siloam double daylily for years and thought I accidentally gave it away with others. Was thrilled to see a small clump left this summer!

Every Felco part is replaceable from the company. They can be lifetime tools if one chooses. A new pair is something special though. I agree.
