Today I'm planting a tricolor beach, making a Mother's Day arrangement for my Mom, and checking out the tulips at Longwood Gardens. How to Make a Hand Tied Bouquet

I have 3 Tricolor beeches in my garden, so I have had a lot of experience with these beautiful trees. Just to give you some advise, hope you do not mind, stake your new baby with a long pole to pull that leader straight up, it is on too short a stake currently. They are prone to aphids so look out and catch it early before those pests eat the new grow. They grow faster than you might think.

Love the idea of you taking a yearly picture with your daughter by the Beech Tree! That bouquet for your Mom is outstanding, I'm sure she loved it. Such a good tip about watching for undertones of your flowers, certainly would make a big difference when blending your flowers for bouquets. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.

A lovely bouquet for your Mum.
Glad to see the sparrows are raising their young in your nesting box.
The tulips in Longwood gardens were lovely. I loved that they had them mixed in with other flowers and I was thoroughly enjoying watching their choice combinations. Thanks for sharing.

Great advice, again. I could just fall down in those Foxglove and lay there all day. My friend use to live in Chadds Ford, she said the boss where she worked would sometimes announce he was closing at noon and tell everyone to go to Longwood Gardens and enjoy the day. Which she happily did.

Such a beautiful tree in that tri- color beech. But I must say that my ears perked up when you said -cheesy potato casserole- Not flowers, but wondering if you would include that recipe in a video. I mean potatoes are plants too. Also enjoyed the shot of the Amish horse and carriage.

Your videos are so beautiful. They are reminiscent of the times when life was slower and gentler. I learn so much from you. The music is so refreshing. I can imagine you at a piano creating those lovely sounds. Thank you for sharing your love of the garden with us.

Thank you also for the great information on warm and cool colors. You explained it so well I think I finally get that! I hope you do take the yearly picture in front of Beech tree! --

I learned something new about warm and cool colors, thank you! Beautiful Mother's Day bouquet you made for your mom! We planted a tri-color beech a long time ago at our previous house but it was in too much sun and, sadly, didn't live very long.

I love your garden, it is amazing and Summer is my favorite time of the year for gardening - Can you tell me what brand jeans you are wearing I love how comfortable they look. Do you wear belts, my old jeans stretch out too much

Love your bouquet and the beech is so pretty! I must have missed your snapdragon video. When did you seed them? I-d love to have some by May next year. Mine are not blooming yet in 7b but I seeded in Feb I believe.

I think 1st April -The April fool's day- is the best day to celebrate with mother so that we can make her foolish. What do you think? Truely waiting for your friendship request. Please make me your friend.

We planted a Tri-Colored Beech 15 years ago and I don-t think it has grown more than a couple of inches here in central Indiana. Do they need to be composted ever so often?

Didn-t know there was actual term or rule for floral design but it makes sense now! Great video and that tricolor beech is glorious! Happy late Mother-s Day
