I kept telling you to wait and not go further on your tree. LOL! The neutral colors were absolutely perfect. When you kept going and got it completed, I couldn't believe how beautiful the tree looked, again. What sweet dimensions of color and texture. Victorian does seem to best describe your amazing tree. My heart leaped with joy for you as you revealed the photo of your grandmother's dried flower tree. How precious a discovery! What a gift you were given. I took screenshots of your tree and am making it my background this Season. And I do think I'll be attempting to follow your lead - growing & drying flowers next year. :D

You impress me with each post but this video is one of your best. I-m so inspired to decorate my Christmas tree for next year with just dried natural flowers. I do use my dried allium and my hydrangeas every year and this year for the first time I spray painted them silver. So, next spring I need to plant the Mexican bush sage plant, the star flower, some sea holly and some celosia. I-m so happy that you added the colored plants. The beige just didn-t do it for me. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Your tree is gorgeous! I enjoyed the neutral look as well, but the finished, more colourful tree, looks terrific. Thanks for including the shot of the floor full of used stems - now that's reality! Thank you for including the pictures of your grandmother - very special. Looking forward to seeing how you decorate your staircase. I'm inspired to add more to my garden for next year so that I can dry flowers to use in a tree next Christmas. Thanks for another great video Danielle!

Beautiful! I made a dried flower Chritmas tree this year too i think it turned out pretty good! The whole intire tree is made from dried flowers. I used a metal hamper and 2 tomato cages as my form and just stuck everything into it. I posted a vid of it on my YT page. I think that was your grandma saying hello by you finding that picture. i believe in things like that - Im sure gonna miss gardening season but im planning for next year and making my seed list for next year!

I love the natural colors, I can see why you would want to do 2 separate trees with dried flowers. I think if you left the natural colors one, or if you do it again, only needs some hot biscuits amaranth sprays on the top, that would be amazing! Love how this turned out, I think whatever makes you happy in the colors and arrangement of it is always what's best. ;) And it's extra special after finding your grandmother's dried flower tree, how sweet!

Hello Danielle,
I just found your video and I am impressed. Great video, your speaking ability is outstanding, but most of all your appearance is wonderful.
(I wonder if people know how bad they look when wearing jeans that are
torn. Presentation of one's self is everything. ) So, I applaud you in every way. I will be watching for your next video.
Thank you,
Carolyn

You look so pretty - very festive. I really like your relationship with your grandma. I was very close to mine as well. Such a blessing to have so much love and in your case learning. I think your love for flowers comes from the love for your grandma. Great dried flowers! I am so impressed by your organization. Have a wonderful holiday season. Just curious, do you sell anything in winter?

I so admired your tree last year that I put one up this year. I don't have the variety that you have. Everything was grown in my garden. I used several varieties of hydrangea, lunaria, magnolia leaves with their pods. It has received many compliments. Thank you for the inspiration. I will plant Mexican Bush sage next year. Have you seen the Dried Flower Christmas Tree at Wnterthur Museum?

You are absolutely delightful! I love your stories about your grandma. I-m a grandma too, I hope one day my grandkids love gardening the way I do. The 90-s were all about dried flowers. I decorated a tree with dried roses and pearls, very Victorian. Thanks for sharing, it-s well past Christmas but you have me inspired for next year.

I loved the neutral colored tree, maybe if you have space next year you can add a third tree in those colors with little woodland animal ornaments. I understand why you added the colors, to celebrate this year's garden, and it is stunning. How special that you found the picture of your grandmother's dried flower tree.

I love your dried flower trees. I am going to dry flowers this growing season and hopefully have enough for at least a small tree. Your tree is beautifuly. Wish I could grow Mexican bush sage in my zone 5 -- did you buy a plant originally or grow it from seed?

Danielle, your tree is lovely. I love the way you describe dried flowers as a celebration of a year-s growing season. Thank you for sharing your personal family stories, particularly those of your Grandma. She was such a special person.

I dried some gomphrena but my old dog got into it so it got full of dog hair. My broom corn dried up really nice though. I got a few static and a few straw flowers. I definitely need a room I can keep the dogs out of for drying.
