I'm making wrapped bunches for the flower stand with the snapdragons we started together from seed! We'll check in on the sunflower successions, harvest lots of snapdragons, and propagate Mexican bush sage and mahogany splendor hibiscus along the way. Thanks so much for watching!

What is the name of the poppy mix? Your larkspur and snaps are AMAZING!
We are thinking about doing a combination flower garden (to use for cutting/pleasure) and no dig rows of cut flowers. We are in a rural community and so don-t have the foot/car traffic you do to sell from home stand. I am looking for possible outlets w/o doing farmers markets. I would like to have a business big enough to help pay for my flower addiction and to start an actual business to get the wholesale prices on things!

Hello Danielle, would you be able remind us of your zone etc in the videos, I am in Toronto zone 5b and almost nothing is flowering yet. You have both zinnias and sunflowers blooming. I might need to go back in the videos but I can-t remember when you planted out the seedlings to get to this point, it is truly amazing! Love love your videos have learned tons on my cut flower journey, thank you.

Danielle, you could add a hummingbird feeder to provide for your hummingbird too (1 part plain granulated cane sugar to 4 parts plain tap water. No colorant needed. Change out water every 3 or 4 days) Also some nice ribbon around the necks of your wrapped & jarred bouquets might add a finishing touch. Nothing needed to just the jars, but when wrapped might do well.

Thank you for sharing all this. By the way, I don't think a leaf cutting of a hydrangea will produce a plant. You can root coleus leaves the same as you've done with the hibiscus, but no plant stem is ever produced. There are some plants that can be propagated from just a leaf, such as jade plant, and sedum.

Your bouquets look beautiful. I cannot believe how early your flowers are blooming. I am in zone seven outside Philadelphia. I started my snapdragons from seed and they are not blooming yet. My sunflowers are still small. You put the plants outside so much earlier than I did. I need to learn more from you.

Look forward to seeing your sunflower Steve's flowers bloom. I had some volunteers come up, they're all facing the backyard, sunrise dead east. And they aren't turning their heads, as the sun comes right over them. Oh well I see them when outdoors that's all that matters. That pink poppy is so very lovely.

Your snapdragons are gorgeous, mine are almost ready to bloom. I love that you show the wildlife in your garden and are willing to let things bloom just for them. We have a few species of woodpecker and lots of songbirds in the wooded area behind the garden, I love to watch them.

Hmm- do other hibiscus root in water? If our temps weren-t in the high 90-s with heat indexes in the triple digits I-d propagate my salvias the same way. I made my granddaughter two bouquets for her dance recital and they were gorgeous. Your garden looks amazing.

I'm glad to see you putting up more videos than other garden you tubers. Just enough not to much like some that do the same things over and over again and not to little and wonder what happened to them? Your very talented, caring and very aware of what you do!

Love watching your videos! The branching sunflowers can be pinched back like you do on your snaps. The flowers won't be as big (maybe a plus for sunflowers) but it will encourage branching=more flower stems. Can't wait for the next video!

Thank you for saving the larkspur for the hummers! I can't go to a nursery or garden center without looking for flowers for the hummingbirds. Next year I'll grow larkspur as we have Anna's and Rufous hummers in our yard.

Those sunflowers are so exciting to see.
Also your pink snapdragons are gorgeous. If I was a bride I-d just want a bouquet of those. Beautiful.
And thank you for sharing how to wrap your bouquet of flowers.

Love your persistence to continue selling flowers at the stand--even though you have lost some bouquets to thieves. That indicates a belief in the basic goodness of people! Did I hear you say your -other- job?

So sweet of you to leave the flowers for the hummingbird. Your thoughfulness to other humans and other creatures is inspiring. Beautiful bouquets. If I lived close, I definitely would have purchased one.

I like your jar carrier! Where can I get something like it? You are a great teacher and Im learning a lot. Please explain your concept of the 5 dollar garden. Thank you. McBride Flower Farm NC USA

I really like the tissue wraps on the bouquets, very nice touch. You have worked so hard on your flowers, they do take a lot of effort and planning. Very cute how Grace came and gave you a kiss.

Hi there. Thanks for all your great content. Do you know if it is possible to save seed from the pro-cut series of sunflower? Will it come true next year, or is it like an F1? Thanks

Beautiful bouquets! I have 4-lined bugs too that chew through so much. What do you do about them? Hope that the damage is not too much for the plant to take? I-m not a sprayer.
