Danielle, time stamp 1: 07, under the ghibertii allium, is that variegated bishop's weed It made my heart stop! I've been dealing with this 'nemesis' (albeit, non-variegated) for over 30 years. I inherited it with the house. It's in the very grass & full sized wherever it's un-mown. Bishop's weed is the only plant which has ever made me cry. It's the devil's weed for any gardener who deals with it. The variegated is known to revert, so if that's what that is, I'd be careful.

Hi Danielle thanks again for sharing your peaceful beautiful garden with us. I love your choice of colors! Iris or foxglove I'm a sucker for foxglove! Thanks also for the book recommendations each week, this one really looks like a great one too! I'm anxious to check it out. I've got some great ideas to use in my garden from watching your videos. You have such beautiful gardens and useful information plus an adorable side kick

Good Morning! The gardens are looking so peaceful and beautiful! I like the sculpture subject. I grow a lot of different colored irises. I like Silken Trim from Schreiner's. It's dark purple, but not the darkest. Mine is blooming now. I have another one. don't know its name because it was a surprise when I dug up a daylily that belonged to my mom. I call it the Ravens Iris, so not sure you would want that anyway.

Good morning Danielle! & Hello from Michigan. Love your May garden so pretty but may I suggest purchasing a beautiful Rhododendron flowering shrub! If you don't have one already. It blooms in May as well & would be so pretty. Ours has been getting the attention of Monarch butterflies Home Depot is having a end-of-season sale on them since it's May & even the ones in the containers now are bloomed now.

What a lovely way to start my day! Whenever I see iris and foxglove I so wish I could paint with water colors. Your driveway garden is so peaceful and beautiful. I too am using a lot of blue/purple and shades of pink in my garden this year. I bought two gems but they are Tempo Rose, a dusty rose color. They are beautiful. Thank you so much for the inspiration and information. Enjoy your day.

I have such envy as we walk through your garden with you. I love flower gardens, but struggle with many elements that prevent me from being able to create anything similar. The first being that your husband is so willing to let your vision come to life. Mine does somewhat, but not wholeheartedly. Thank you for sharing your stunning gardens with us.

Hey Danielle! I have been so looking forward to each week's garden walk/talk. I'm a beginner gardener in zone 7A and have loved seeing some of the native plants you have in your garden and your use of perennials! I am also on a corner lot, curious how have the hummingbird trellises and no-dig fence been holding up for you

What a fun video! Could you share where you purchased your bulbs and plants I am sure you may have a few, but I would like some direction to reputable businesses. And one more question if I may. Your catnip. does it stay in a controlled mass and not come up all over

After you show your beautiful rooms, I wish you would show a bouquet that you are selling from it. You mentioned going to the flower stand. I would love you to share! Thank you for your content. I learn so much from you!

The darkest Iris I grow is Dusky Challenger. It isn't so dark that it is black, but it is a beautiful saturated bluish purple. Absolutely one of my favorites! Your garden is very beautiful!

Hello Danielle. I recommend Black Gamecock Iris, it’s one of the most beautiful irises I have in my garden. It’s a very deep purple. It’s absolutely beautiful!

I grow a dark bearded iris germanica: Sign of Leo. I enjoy it more than I thought I would. It’s dark moody purple and plays nice with soft or vibrant hue

I haven't heard you mention Larkspur this year in your garden. Sadly, something ate the seeds planted last fall and I don't have a single plant.

You should plant some of the persian berry bearded iris along the main flower walk. I feel like the orange beard matches perfectly with your geums: )
