I love you so much mate. not in that way. but I think that this company you need to look at the Footprint this company makes. they seem really good right? but I dont think so if you look at who really funds this company and what they really think is right for the environment. It doesn't take a rocket Scientist
to see that the product packaging is not what it should be coming from a company like this. Im actually embarrassed. you should too.

I was thinking about the need for power. I was mostly thinking about those unrealistically oppressive summers. I'm not sure what your plans are if they entail living there full time, but as you get older, it becomes more and more difficult to live in extreme conditions. I live in Los Angeles, and when it gets to 110-120, it's unbearable. I really don't know how people survived before AC.

Just wonderful, been searching for how to make an electric generator with magnets for a while now, and I think this has helped. I agree that we need power when off-grid, and I respect your reasoning for running a commercial. I will suggest as a matter of protocol is cleaner to announce that your video is a commercial up front. I watch quite a few videos and I suspected this one was a commercial immediately. Still, I would feel more respected if the announcement was up front.

Bro, just clear out a small spot for some panels to not keep from moving them around, chop some fire wood and use the rest to setup a ground mount with the panels facing the sun. Simple as that. You'll have fire wood, a frame to mount your panels on, and a clear space with plenty of sun.

Surprised your not using a wind generator, you have plenty of wind. Should have one along with solar anyway.
You can locate it away from main area for better winds. Doesn't have to be close to main cabin. It will turn automatically with any change of wind direction by way of wind vein.

Yes Shawn I agree whole heartedly these new gimmicks for saving solar reflective power are brilliant and in saying that there are ideas afloat that all new builds have them incoreporated into their domticicity if that is how you spell it - I'm getting old! Cheers mate.

I think solar is totally legit for off grid. Not connected to anyone else. But a Yeti 3000 & panels, only 5K Canadian. Such a deal. LOL That's a whole different level of off grid.
