Hi Shawn. IDEA. Imagine you had a log the length of the cabin roof, with a flat faced plank nailed to it on the sloping side, with a plank at right angles to the upright plank to stop it rolling over. A double pulley attached to each end. Paracord from each end to a double pulley attached to the ridge, and ending at an end you choose, (maybe by the entrance door. At the bottom of the roof are strong stops. The log is held at the top. When you wish to clear the snow, un-cleave the cord, and allow to run free. The log under its own weight, slides down the roof clearing the snow, and buffers up at the eaves against the stops. Pull the cord, the log comes back up, ready to launch for the next time you need it. :) If the snow is very deep, you can have a standing cord length attached to the logs ends, to allow you to manually pull it down if needed from each end. All the very best. Tony

Not trying to be Negative-Nancy, but why fry Cali's part of the meat?
The resulting acrylamide just increases her cancer risk, and I bet she'd appreciate it all the same if it were still raw: -)
