Brother!
You make me want to get out there.
I've been watching your videos non-stop for several hours now thinking: -what am I doing with my life? -
The places you go and the things you do, along with the words you say, are downright romantic.
It's a longing for the by-gone days of old - when our kind was in its infancy in North America.
Ever read -Three men in a boat (to say nothing of the dog) by Jerome K. Jerome?
Your videos are the embodiment of that.
Man, I wish I knew those spots, so I could visit them myself!
However, it's like you say: -look on Google Maps - every creek is pretty much a sure thing-.
You're absolutely right.
Greetings and Salutations from Toronto!

broooo there are so many little mini seems and pockets your missing, i use to just fish past everything and only fish the prime zones till my buddies shows me to fish absolutely every piece of water. those trout can be almost invisible at times! dont be like me when i was just hitten those average fish and then my buddies get on the same stretch of water and start pulling hogs haha.
great video cheers =)
ps grab some dollar store materials for fun and make some more spin fly lures! that beard fly you made was pretty dope i still think a could slay a fish on it considering ive got 20inch rainbows with flies i made from random duck feathers i picked up and a big of rabbit fur for body.

First time I ever heard you drop the F bomb and well worth it god dam, what the hell were you doing I had to turn the volume down from all the buzzing you had me scratching from just watching bro! Indeed great day on the water only one is better than none! You will find the honey hole keep up your Trek and will pay off.

We did some experimenting with bug jackets this summer. Tested 4 different ones and the best one came from the army surplus store in North Bay. All the jackets kept the bugs off, but only that one met the following criteria: being able to see through the mesh (if the screen isn't black you're visibility is only 60-70%, able to keep cool and be able to fit over thicker clothing if needed (all mesh with elasticize X waist/wrists) and finally inexpensive (carry 2 in case one gets ripped. Remember only to buy one with a black mesh otherwise it will drive you crazy not being able to see clearly.

I spent 3 days brook trout fishing up north in mid may just after the mosquito hatch. fishing was good but it was terrible. at least 100 mosquitoes around me at any given time. drives you crazy and nothing keeps them away. in fact Ive changed my brook trout trips to the first week of May just before the hatch from now on. a bit cooler but way better than being tortured by the blood suckers.

If you like that creek, maybe you should get some dragonfly larva and release them into that spot. The dragonfly will establish themselves, and the dragonfly larva eat the mosquito larva. You can also get mosquito fish, but some places are regulated so that you cannot release them into open waterways, check your laws first.

Just viewed! Mosquitos are one of the worst beasts of the wilderness. They spread diseases and kill many people here in Cambodia. I know even in Canada you can contract the same diseases. Be careful and take care. Love the scenery, great sound. Appreciate. More videos please.

Wooded Beardsman, watching your Adventure videos make me want to go camping again. I do a lot of fishing and some hunting but I haven-t been camping in over 18 years. As a kid my dad would take my brothers and me all the time and taught us a lot. I really miss it.
