CAVEMAN Cooking Meat in Mud, Primitive Skills ASMR (Silent)

Rating: 4.0; Vote: 1
I wrap up fresh caught venison in burdock roots and then a layer of mud in order to cook it using primitive tehcnology. Next, I make a primitive hand drill fire using mullein and a soft wood base of aspen. I then cook the meat in the fire until it is cooked. This is an exploration of prehistoric times when people would use very simple and traditional methods of preparing food for eating. I will not talk in the video, and will focus on the sounds of nature in this ASMR video dealing with survival, and survival skills

Seems to inefficient. I get maintaining tradition. But seems like too much work to cook something that be easily cooked on a spit or something more easily made. The meat would probably taste better and by the way those vegetables you had to wrap the meat in to be sacrificed to protect from the mud could also be eaten. Cool to see. Practical, or even fun or rewarding, I wouldn-t think so. But I-ve never done.
Cool vid bro. Just seems overly wasteful of resources and energy for something that could otherwise be cooked very easily and efficiently without throwing away those greens.

Can you tell us more about the history of mud cooking? And add alot of pis if u could. I'd like to see you do that. If not all good. I just can't see them doing that back then or even the indians doing that. Not that I've looked it up but just haven't come acrossed it

Is this silent type popular? Its extremely frustrating for me. Almost unwatchable. I watch your videos to hopefully learn something I didn't know. Bad enough youtube wont let you process animals anymore.

Looks like your stone knife could use a little TLC. Did you not heat up the sinew when you initially wrapped it up? You know, Chris' Easy Bake Oven is a little different than Betty Crocker's.

Good job dude, but that looked freaking gross lol! As bad as -Sam the cooking guy- when he takes his meat off the fire but on the other spectrum. =P

You should make a fishing pond and populate it with fish, it-ll take a few months for them to populate the pond but it-ll be something new.

Why no more subtitles? The past couple videos haven't had them when the first several did when you started the ASMR series?
