I have a lot of 10/22-s that I have customized heavily. My favorite scope is the Bushnell Rimfire Optics Rifle Scope 3-12x 40mm 3 BDC Turrets Side Focus Multi-X Reticle. Follow the directions on sighting in then you-re golden. Customize the turrets to your ammo and then the scope takes the aiming high/low guesswork out of the equation for you. Simple to use and super accurate. It has a nice price point and doesn-t break the bank. Glad to see you utilizing the 10/22, it-s one of my favorite designs. Get you a take down version, you-ll love it!

Get a CZ 452 or 455. 22 LR Bolt action with a Nikon 3 x 9 rimfire scope it has bullet compensator for different distances and use Eley subsonic hollow points or CCI subsonic hollow points they are more accurate and dont scare the squirrels as much, you can often get a few of them before they get spooked, Hope this helps Chris

To all the city folk, I'm from LA born and raised and did a fair bit of hunting in my day too, squirrel is one of those meats where its really really similar to Chicken and very mild gaminess to it so try it out! The least unpleasant wild animal to eat imo.

Set any. 22 at 50 yards then your pretty good at 30 and 40. Just shoot a tad lower. Also looks like you're shooting down hill which can make the bullet hit high if zero is obtained on level ground. Good shot Bro. Best wishes and hope you had a great Christmas.

Have to watch when you shoot from your cabin if you can't see to the right or left. Someone may walk by. Does your scope have notches cross hairs of the scope? You can then test and find out what each notch is for distance.

You won't eat a chimpanzee, but a chimpanzee will definitely eat you, given the chance. Those guys are murderous, there are plenty of documented cases of cannibalism in the species.

Why are you using a powder charge rifle, go get an air rifle like a GAMO. Cheaper, quite, no license or registration needed. TREE RATS they only make good fertilizer

As if hunting wasn't hard enough. being the camera guy at the same time for the sake of Content is probably very difficult. So props to you for the game you do get.
