Zach Fowler, Alex Peric and set out on the cold tundra to build an ice hotel with just a few basic tools Millennial: My daughter wants to build an igloo this winter, so I thought I-d watch some videos on YouTube. This looks absolutely exhausting. Now I know why I never even got close to finishing an igloo as a kid! This looks even harder since their building materials are chunks of ice- it-s like Kristoff from Frozen trying to build an igloo.
I wonder if using ice made the igloo colder inside. Snow is fluffy and full of air, which definitely would improve insulation.

Oh, man.
I think the entrance to igloo is too tall. It won-t hold heat well.
Eskimo igloo entrance actually go down first, and then up when you enter the circular structure. This helps the hot air staying inside the igloo. If entrance is too tall, hot air escapes directly out the entrance.
I like the build though. Very ambitious. Awesome project.

The Bearded Squirrelbrain said don't worry about COVID back in April, and now Ontario is setting daily record number for cases. He should stick to killing animals rather than handing out pandemic advice, unless he can provide his viewing public with his medical degrees.

Survival tip #1: Don't fall in that freezing lake.
I get nervous every time you guys were at the edge of that ice. I probably would not have the balls to do this.
P. S. I like how your videos are getting more and more cinematic!

The ice bas deeper than i thought. Seeing them walk around in slush made me nervous. The tool used for cutting ice is so much more bad a-- than just using a chainsaw! I mean that thing is so sweet looking! Igloo was awesome!

I feel like you should have taken that sled and filled it up with powder snow and stuff that bad boy up. That way your not rolling your sleeping bag over 5 inches of slushy.

I hope nobody snowmobiles over the open water not seeing it. It looks too heavy for the thickness of the ice. I hope you guys all stayed safe. Wow. nice build though.

Watched this video last year and it was super fun because Beardy was talking and explaining. This is like rewatching your favorite movie on a broken TV.
